    Great video john... I used to visit family between the 1980s until the early 90s, that lived on union street.. Great to see the wee village after all these years, not much has changed in it by the looks of it lol.. All the best from London mate 👍

    Thank you John for doing this. You started in Town head Street where my family lived & worked since 1829. In September, I finally made the 700 mile round trip to see it.
    It makes me so happy that it's still there & to see that the places where they lived are still much loved homes.

    Amazing video John. The street is so run down now I can't believe it.
    At 45:37 I think that was the bookies not Connals. Connals, my Grandparents place, was two doors up. Next door to the right I think was Symes the butcher if I remember correctly. You can see the door and window of Connals at 45:43.
