I never noticed Kanaya's glowing, or Karkat's crying, and I always assumed that Rose at the beginning was just a bad drawing. Also, I liked how some characters (Rose at the beginning) have ways to get into rolling (Skaia gate) and then there's Roxy who just pops into frame like the void player she is.
MxMakersLA its actually kind of a depressing song so having it combined with silly homestuck shenanigans is kind of jarring even then, without really understanding it, it kind of works alright as a background track for this

Dave and Jade rolling in sync when john was doing his hero business. Grindark Rose rolling with doc scratch.. Jane starting off strong but with the second flash of the cals and OBEY showing that she's anything but in control. Lots of little detail that shows how things in Homestuck went

I turn 17 this year and I am going to make a huuuge YOUTH ROLL next year into adulthood, I hope that I can still enjoy things like Homestuck when I get to college and eventually my job. For the beginning of 2023, I want to enjoy this fandom and rejoice with the reminaing Homestucks while I still can. I love Homestuck, and I love all of you. This is pretty much the story of Homestuck's characters in the form of them rolling around. And John eating dirt for like 40% of it. I'm honestly not sure if I wanna cry histerically or rejoice but characters simply fading out are making me feel way more feelings than they should. Also I approve of Jade's height headcanon at the end XD

THERE'S SO MANY DETAILS. Like Caliborn/Calliope's shadows in the OBEY flashes with Jane, or Karkat crying in the split second before he's off screen, or Dave's god tier being visible before he completely fades out with the bullet wounds, etc etc etc. Love the bits with Rose, she's my fave, and the bit with GO Terezi and John. Oh man 10/10

Compared to the others Rose is rolling along fine, but fuzzy because of her connection Jade and Dave both rolling in sync as dave assumes the role of her server player also them working together most of the pre-scratch session All four post-scratch kids rolling along perfectly (with Cal(iborn/iope) catching them in brief moments John rolls perfectly only when guided by terezi, and then afterwards near the end when things are finally figured out Dead characters either stop rolling or fly offscreen The animator put a lot of noticable effort into the little nuances of each character's part in Homestuck and that just makes the whole better for it.
The beatdown and the events leading to her finally keeling over into her own self-drawn chalk outline made me screech in genuine distress, curse the church of Faygo, screech some more, then dissolve into fits of laughter because _of course Terezi would still have enough steam left to steal Jade's shoes, fly off to Roxy's planet, mediate between her and John, _*_and_*_ write down a retconning to-do list_ despite enduring a one-sided mauling and a knife to the gut
When comparing john's roll cycle with rose jn the 1st part,It looks likes John is those players on games that although have a lag free pc,Is terrible when it comes to skill while Rose has a laggy pc but is extremely skilled at the game(Which is literally just act 1)
