Great reaction Man, thanks. This is THE Rooftop gig! London, January 1969 - they played a 45 minute gig on the roof and is the last time they're seen playing in public together.
The Beatles created more "new" in their 8 years (1963-1969) than we have seen in this century (in popular music). If you want to hear their really groundbreaking tracks, try "Tomorrow Never Knows," "A Day in the Life," and "Helter Skelter" (a precursor to heavy metal). If you want to hear the Beatles celebrating life and love, try "Here Comes the Sun," "All You Need is Love, "Let it Be," and "Hey Jude." John Lennon's "In My Life" still brings me tears from it's beauty and humanity, even after decades of listening.
Between the verse the chorus and the bridge you get three songs in one and they stop and pause and then restart and The Beatles songs build and crescendo to the end there's just so many great things about how they do their music and many people copy the same thing they get the ideas from these guys. John Paul George and Ringo the only band where everybody knows everybody's name. The Beatles. In their 8 years they only did about 214 songs including four or five covers each one is unique. My recommendation is that you expose yourself to all of them.
The great Billy Preston, the real fifth Beatle no matter what anyone tells you, on the keyboards in the back nearly falling off of the building he is so out of sight. A very renowned artist in his own right.
The most influential band on modern rock/pop without question. They started as a pretty generic rock n roll band in the 60's and morphed into the greatest band in the World. Fantastic vocalists, incredible musicians, and even better composers (and they could all write songs) You will have heard of John Lennon on lead here and Paul McCartney I'm sure, both had prodigious solo careers after they slit up with many hits. The back catalogue of Beatles, Lennon, McCartney and Co is massive so no shortage of material for you. Just a few great Beatles songs, Yesterday, Let it be, A day in the life, while my guitar gently weeps, come together, Hey Jude, but there are so many more..
Great review. Some great examples of Beatles songs were suggested earlier. I have another suggestion: Across the Universe. This is a cosmic song. Pure poetry.

The best group to ever walked this planet.

You need to start from the beginning. This was the very end. Enjoyed this reaction!

All their songs are fire.

Important to recognize the great Billy Preston on keys.
looks like you only have one earbud in? You need two, it's in stereo.
More Beatles and Rolling Stones.
❤👋
Lennon talked about great sex without the talking about great sex.
How can you decide you like the song before you hear it? You have to interrupt for RUclips, but don’t BS us.
