Thank you so much for doing these reviews! I'm a fountain pen & planner geek ,& I can always count on you for a thorough analysis. Because of all your work, my itch gets scratched without spending the big bucks ;) I've got my Hobonichi A6 because of your appraisals, & it's as perfect for me as possible. Yay, Lily!!
i guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@George Jaxxon I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I like the idea of using this as a meal planner! As you've mentioned before, I always think I should be doing more of it, but it never seems to stick. Clearly, another planner is the answer! LOL! At least I can tell myself that! ha! My limited personal experience is that the Moleskin planners have the lesser quality paper than their notebooks. For example, I have a Moleskine 2017 wo2p vertical but don't use it because of the same fountain pen problem. However, I use their Evernote branded notebooks and love them for notetaking at conferences. I've never heard of the batch phenomena. I'll have to look into that. Thank you, as always, for the great video!
Yes! Another planner is definitely in order lol! Interesting observation about the Moleskine planners having worse paper quality than the notebooks. That certainly matches my experience!
Thanks for always looking out for us plannernerds and introducing us to new planner products! I've been using the Erin Condren Monthly Deluxe as my content planner but this would be more compact and I would be able to keep it in my A5 TN along with my primary planner. The only thing I'm worried about is what pen to use since the paper is so-so. Great video and looking forward to your comparison of the Moleskine versus the Leuchtturm1917--or any other monthly with note pages planners.
I use a Pilot Elite 95s (Fine) and it works passably well with Moleskine notebooks and planners providing the ink isn't too dark. I bought one of their notebooks a while back, and it was superb paper in every respect. Then got another, and was shocked by how mediocre the paper was, not much better than you could get from a pound shop. I won't buy Moleskine now, unless I can either touch the paper for myself pre-purchase, or it has a batch number that's been confirmed as good.
This seems to be something you could use entirely for travel - I know you travel for business, not all the time but a few times a year at least plus you go to Wales ... I could so see this as a book where you'd have your whole travel year inside one space. Plus all the blank pages could be details and info about who, what, where while your away. Also it might be helpful for the whole year of travel costs . Even the time zones, conversions, etc would make it even more useful. I don't know if that would work - but I don't think you have a planner that's dedicated to travel and it might be a really helpful thing and something you could always refer back too.... Can't you imagine one for each year, lined up on a book shelf?
Oh the compromises we must make! I'm using the Moleskine monthly large this year for a work overview and meeting notes (mostly because of your leuchtturm monthly review but I couldn't get it in the us last year). Although I love it, the blank pages in between the monthly spreads drive me nuts as I I have to flip through them looking for the month. I'm going to try the leuchtturm this year (sent from the uk) but are the lines in the monthly boxes going to drive me just as nuts? It seems like an odd design as graphically, the boxes are not that well defined and I'm worried it will look like a jumble to my eye. The good news is that it starts in November so I can give it a whirl. The leuchtturm also has numbered pages, an index, and nice project planning pages at the beginning. We'll see! Love your videos!!
Interesting that you prefer the Leuchtturm because it doesn't have the blank pages in between the months. I agree with you about the lines in the monthly boxes in the Leuchtturm - that's one of the main reasons I think I like the Moleskine better. But as you said, the Leuchtturm has other advantages... planner addict problems!! So happy you like the videos :)
They have a 18 month planner like this!

Your reviews are the best! Thank you!
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate that!
For anyone that wants "More months" moleskine do an 18 month planner.
Vegan try to change the pens. I had the same issue with pens for Moleskine notebooks. I prefer Uniball.
Thanks so much for taking me up on my request for a walk through of this. Very quick turn around from suggest to post lol. You're a peach!
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I really enjoyed making this video and am glad you let me know about it in the first place :)

That's a cool idea! Thanks! And yes, it would make the time zones more relevant :)

Thank you for this nice insight!
Could you tell me the brand of the planner you compare with Moleskine monthly planner?
Iwona Joanna It's the Leuchtturm monthly planner.
