Awesome mat, love your top or dress not sure, what pattern and what is that gorgeous fabric called. I love it. Good on the plans. and I'm sure Steph won't mind if you buy her fabric...lol can't wait to see the pan video's into reality
Yes would love a sew along for the sewing mat. Also when you talk of freezer paper is that the same as grease proof paper. Shame about the no show but what a good shop checking machines twice by different engineers definitely give them a shout out.

Is it possible that you could make flaps to cover the pockets and make them just big enough to camouflage the differences? It's not a place where you would want wide flaps, but maybe if you made them just big enough it would look intentional and not over the top. I think it's great that your sewing machine dealer is being so careful about making sure your machine is in good working order. I would rather have a reliable dealer and wait than have one that rushes and misses things, Also, another way to give some firmness to quilted items is to quilt with inexpensive felt sold by the yard. My local store clearanced some because it had discolorations from the manufacturing process. I was in the planning process of making sewing machine covers, and it was too inexpensive not to give it a try. I really like the results for my sewing machine covers; it was more firm than batting, but not as firm as foam. I guess a lot is just personal preference, but this is also a more affordable option for some quilted items.
@@nadinewoods6971 I’ve found spare fabric so will redo one of the fronts. Yes the dealer comes highly recommended it was just a bit disappointing. My friend uses felt to quilt with it is a good idea xxx
I would be interested in your sewing station. Yours looks great I'm like you and have everything all over the place so I'm sure that would help keep me tidy x
On another one of your videos you mentioned that the quilt block you put on one side of your tote you made-the block was a "Tula Pink" "Log Cabin Botanical" paper pieced block-I cannot find that any where-and it is so gorgeous, I want to make some blocks!! I enjoy making blocks, I just cannot do the quilting part due to issues with my body. Please send me the link,, or post where I can find this gorgeous block pattern!! Thank you!!
