Fuckin hilarious. This is one of their best ever segments. The tape by itself is bloody hilarious, but these guys riffing over it just makes it money.
I don't think anyone is making the argument that they've never said terrible things in anger. It's Mel's level of rage that is so out of control... the heavy breathing, the maniacal screaming, the verbal and physical assault... it's all very mental.
I recognized the voice on the phone at the beginning but couldnt remember who it was. It was driving me crazy for a minute.
Kevin Smith has such a recognizable speech cadence and timber of voice.
I listened to way too many DVD extras in the early 2000s lol

Also Kevin Smith at the beginning is doing what everyone does nowadays. Basically "I've never had a racist thought" or more so in this case "i never had a misogynistic thought" boiled down into "I've never been this angry enough to say anything as mean as he said"
