Golden Freddy does get stuffed the last body shows for a second before the jump scare and golden Freddy has 2 spirits in it the crying child and the vengeful spirit gotta dedicate more hours of yo life to the lore gang
@meh7973 But I'm afraid you've been misinformed. You are not here to receive a gift, nor have you been called here by the individual you assume, although, you have indeed been called
@@gechoman44iwantahippo what? there were two bites - this is shown by the pizzeria closing down due to a horrible and traumatizing incident caused by animatronics wandering during the day and acting strange around adults and Jeremy Fitzgerald (a nightguard) being replaced *in 1987*, and the crying child (alive in 1983) was killed as a child. thus, there were two incidents
@silverysky7040 The reason the FNAF 2 location closed down was because of a second missing children incident. Those kids possessed the toys, and Afton extracted the remnant from them and put it in the funtimes (he abandoned the idea of having them capture kids after what happened to Elizabeth). This is why Molten Freddy had souls in him in PS. At least, that’s the way I see it. You can believe what you want.
1:02:13 when he asks why is he called lefty and you didn’t know, it’s actually an acronym. L.E.F.T.Y stands for “Lure Encapsulate Fuse Transport and Extract” (this is in a blueprint in fnaf 6) and it shows how it tricked the puppet and trapped her inside
In my eyes, yes Golden Freddy isn’t real when he shows up - but he’s still a real suit, left somewhere we never see. I think both the crying child and Cassidy can be Golden Freddy and that’s an easy solution - one is tied to the suit spiritually and can appear as an apparition, whereas another was stuffed into the physical suit slumped over in some back room.
this makes the most sense, because if it was something else it'd leave me wondering "why would they remake golden freddy's suit only to not use it?" fnaf 1 golden freddy is probably just an apparition meanwhile the fnaf 2 golden freddy suit is actually a physical suit.
Rather than being stuffed I think Cassidy was killed via Springlock Failure, it’s a perfect explanation for why she does UCN, it’s a way more painful death than anything else William could do
@@4zy1 Well, as with many other animatronics, Golden Freddy/Fredbear’s design has never been consistent so I don’t think there’s too much point in focusing on the design changes. However, Phone Guy does mention the *spare* yellow suit they have in the back of Fnaf 2 so you might be onto something, especially considering after that’s mentioned GF can appear. I personally still think both spirits share one body though. Maybe Crying Child is even shadow Freddy - he’s the “other side” to Golden Freddy and since he was never stuffed, appears as a shadowy ghost whereas Cassidy appears as the suit, which is why the actual GF you always see is so angry and why shadow Freddy is a seemingly benign presence.
@@jaydenlobbe7911 That’s an interesting idea, though there isn’t any explicit evidence that points to that specific of a death as of right now - either way, that would make sense and wouldn’t be surprised if that ends up being revealed at some point, cause otherwise Cassidy has no reason to be angrier than the others.
itd also be a good explanation for why cassidy is so incredible pissed at william, compared to everyone else. while everyone else was running around murdering the overnight workers cassidy was lock in a room that no one ever goes in.
think u forgot about the "missing children" poster in FNAF 1 which proves that 5 children have died in the pizzeria. So you do know that they are possessed or at least something sketchy
Oh yeah this was def one of the first nitpicks I had with the video Very minor though and not exactly needed, it just makes a more coherent picture of what the vibes of the first game are like.
Fun fact! FNAF world is actually extremely important to the story of Michael and his younger brother, Henry as well. It is seemingly not a mainline game but it actually is
I see FNAF World as an imagination land that Gabriel, Jeremy, Fritz, Susie, and Evan go to after they finally pass on in FNAF 3 but before they enter the afterlife.
@@snickers7079 no, their point is that the word canon refers to a collection of lore or information. technically, all of released fnaf stuff (or most of it, not counting joke games and the like), are part of the whole "fnaf canon," but there are obviously different continuities within that canon
The thing with people beliving there's another kid in golden freddy is as simple as... there's 5 missing chilkdren in the incident that gets the robots posessed... and you quite literally see that 5th kid in the puppet minigame (for one frame) and you also also see them in UCN and that shit is not the crying child
I love how there's an objectively good and simple story in here, that Scott objectively chose to avoid making it canon just to swap it out with the most ridiculous nonsense ever conceived
You actually totally forgot something about Golden Freddy. That being, there is a fifth missing kid. We hear that there were five missing children in the newspaper in FNAF 1, and we see a fifth dead kid that appears right before the Golden Freddy jumpscare in Give Gifts, Give Life
haha okay this is legit one of my fave explanations of fnaf lore out there not only that, but introducing it to friends that are on the periphery of knowing fnaf lore is perfect so funny and so well put together!
i think the explanation that william is studying remnant bc he hopes to bring his son back, who was the very first to die, and simply goes off the deep end eventually is a lot more satisfying than him wanting to know why dead kids wont keep being dead
Despite you not talking about fnaf world, i do think its going to be very important because there are a lot of ties between it and ruin. The red lake is paralleling old man consequences lake, the AR is paralleling the flipside, and the mimic and tangle both are names of characters in fnaf world too. There are probably some more im missing too.
Allow me to explain the way I see Golden Freddy having two souls. Evan (Crying Child) possesses after the bite. Cassidy is stuffed into the suit during the MCI. The suit is destroyed, but both are trapped in a figurative poltergeist version of it. They both fight for dominance, so there are some times where Cassidy has control, and some times where Evan has control. Shadow Freddy is a construct created by Evan when he isn’t in control.
@@kadegetslaid634 It simply makes the most sense for Cassidy to be killed via Springlock Failure, it’s a far more painful death than anything else William could have possibly done, and it’s a perfect explanation for why Cassidy decides to torture him in UCN The ending cutscene of UCN shows Golden Freddy twitching in the exact same way Springtrap was in Fnaf 3’s trailer
it makes no sense for golden freddy to be possessed by two people, crying child didn’t die in fredbear, he died in the hospital which is confirmed in fnaf 4. weve never seen 2 souls in one animatronic either
Once we reach FNAF4, you have to bring up the books, because they explain things in hindsight. I'm sorry, but they're required reading now. They explain ghost mechanics, why Shadow Bonnie is your enemy in the AR game, they explain FNAF4's connection to Sister Location, they tell you anything at all about the Mimic, they even let you know about the Golden Duo. They also supply yet more evidence that there almost certainly is someone that's a robot that appears human in the games by giving us a lot of options for how it might have happened. Sorry, but thems the breaks; I don't make the rules.
@@muzzycosmos9400There's a story about him possessing a video game or something like that, then a kid tries to play the game and cheats, and in the end they die. Besides that, he seems to be made of dark remnant if you take Special Delivery into account, but that's about it.
@@gaminganimators7000yeah no evidence that their are robot kids in the games but it is is being brought up semi consistently in the books so a robot kid might appear in the future who knows but no one we know as of now could be a robot kid specifically anyone who was possessed by glitchtrap/the mimic because the vanni mask can be assumed requires a real human brain to infect due to the way the acranim is made I might compile mu ideas on all the info i have on how things work via a broad net Approach due to my chronically unhealthy internet gremlining around lore of many things it is how i percive it and why i do and could be used for info or a complation of all the theorys I have been exposed to and info from across my lifetime of fnaf content consumption anouther peice to my pile of random stuff i plan to try to do
This is such a fun video lmao, love seeing people’s initial reactions to the chaos and confusion that is this franchise. You also did a really great job at organizing it all and making it about as digestible as possible considering… how impossible it is to force your way into the lore nowadays… I’d also like to mention that yeah, it’s almost definitely real that security breach was changed because MatPat just predicted the whole thing- he alluded to a game company contacting him and going something like “dang, you sure you don’t have someone on the inside?” and then the game came out and it was completely different. He didn’t state what company it was then but I _believe_ there was a later GTLive where he mentioned Steel Wool doing something like that… so yeah, that just- sucks. I do feel like a lot of valid and important points are dismissed in favor of “book/MatPat bad” though- they are pretty much undeniably important at this point (they gave us William’s name, Henry’s existence, a ton of other tidbits and details and even major stuff like the Mimic) and disregarding all of it seems pointless tbh. Also just disregarding Cassidy’s entire existence is kinda wild lol- I’d love a part 2 going over the books, the AR game, FNaF World, etc. etc. cause despite everything they are genuinely important and integral to figuring this all out. Anyways, really fun vid! Definitely gonna check out more of your stuff, looks like there’s some fun vids that I’d be interested in. I’d also love another one of these types of videos, whether that be the books/other games of FNaF or a different franchise entirely- this is a fun format and I’d love to see more!
Both of the Golden Freddy theories can be true though. Golden Freddy is constantly slumped over because he’s in suit mode, and can’t move, so he has to psychically project himself to do stuff. And there are two souls that inhabit it, because 5 children died originally, and the fifth child had to go somewhere. Golden Freddy is a real suit, it just appears as a ghost cause it can’t move.
36:41 golden Freddy having two spirits is IN FNAF 2! I couldn’t believe it but fnaf 2 shows a different kid from the missing children’s incident being stuffed into golden Freddy but only the fnaf 4 crying child was laid to rest
@@mrult28well it ain't Cassidy so there's no other candidate, and it lines up with the crying child having an actual birthday pt cuz he dies on his birthday before it even starts
The first minigame featuring a child dying outside a Freddy's, the minigame says "SAVE HIM", which the 6th (8th if we're being chronological and don't care about canon, 7th if only sort of care about canon making coherent sense) game contradicts this by making it Henry's daughter.
Scott didn't exactly think about this child being the daughter of the cofounder of Freddy's and it doesn't really matter whether it's a boy or a girl. What really matters if it's Henry's child and if it possessed the Puppet
15:27 FNaF 1 and The Silver Eyes and literally all FNaF media has always consistantly said the *five* missing children. Also, Golden Freddy’s corpse *is* in the minigame for a few frames.
Have you watched the Wendigoon fnaf theory video? It makes a complete story by choosing to ignore certain parts and rearranging stuff on the timeline to make the story make some sense
1:02:30 Actually, in FNAF UCN when you encounter the Old Man Consequences easter egg the slowed-down screams in the ambiance are someone (presumably William) saying “Henrryyyyy! Miiiiiiike! Rahhhhh! Help meeeeee!”
I never even thought about Mike getting fired in FNaF and FNaF 2 because of odor because he’s a rotting corpse at that point. Kinda unrealistic that people didn’t notice his skin (based on people’s reactions to him in the SL Custom Night cutscenes) unless he covered up for the job interviews, but then again how did the guys that recovered Springtrap not realize there was a corpse in the suit. Also you talked about how the Halloween Nightmares are now possibly canon because of games post-FFPS but didn’t mention that Scott explicitly stated that Nightmare Balloon Boy was canon shortly after the update came out.
Personally, I think Michael ended up regenerating thanks to the remnant even though he was still a walking dead corpse. Another personal "theory" of mine is basically that he used illusory disks to appear like a normal human.
39:40 the way ive come to understand it was that it was afton testing out the hallucination sound disks to see how well they worked on mike. so like theyre just normal anamatronics that william is making appear to mike as the nightmares. so like they are in his head as far as what they look like, but also real anamatronics, just like the normal crew, they only look different. again, just how i understand the lore rn
My unemployed friends at 2pm on a Tuesday: Genuinely, this is one of the best fnaf lore explination videos I've seen. Direct, straightforward, and very comprehensible! Excellent job
55:21 you may not like the books, but they give evidence to what happens in some of the things that you don't have an explanation for in this video. Also, I'm assuming you don't know what has happened in the books so to call People's theories stupid because they are getting information from the books and creating a theory when you haven't read them is ironically stupid. You may want them to be separate from the games, but Scott has said they can be used to give us a different perspective on what has happened in the games. 7:41 the newspaper clippings, no? They say 2 kids were seen being lured into the back, then 5 kids were tied to the disappearing of the 2 kids, then it talks about blood and puss on the animatronics eyes and mouth which heavily implies that the bodies were in there at some point. Marking this if you don't talk about it later. 8:59 saving this to talk about later. 11:33 i believe this to be somewhat true. I think the witherds look broken because William came back to dismantle them in the FNAF 3 cutscenes and they were quickly put back together by the staff. 10:34 as you remember just after this it is because of the paychecks. Nights 1-6 paychecks say Jeremy Fitzgerald 1987 and the night 7 pink slip says fritz smith 12:23 he asked why the golden Freddy was broken. Also about him being a ghost, idk if your going to go into this at some point but they are all ghosts its more so the fact that he's a spring lock suit without an endo so that's why it cant move. 14:50 possibly.....that mini game you are talking about is very weird. I don't think William dismantled the animatronics at the FNAF 2 location. 15:43 there were 5 confirmed kids missing based on the newspapers in FNAF 1 so I'm just marking this if you don't talk about it later. 16:55 its weird how possession works. I don't think you need the puppet to give you life. After all Evan, Charlie, William, Elizabeth were not given life by the puppet. I think it has more to do with unfinished business and traumatic events. How you get into the animatronic determines how angry your soul will be. 18:24 marking this 18:41 6 dead kids but you list 5 animatronics so......idk if you are going to talk about this I'm marking it. 35:19 you can have the crying child posses golden Freddy and one of the kid's soul possess golden Freddy at the same time. 36:40 why do you write off this theory there is a lot of evidence pointing to it. The guidebook has 2 souls talking. In the books the stitch wraith is supposed to represent golden Freddy and the 2 souls in it met similar fates to a kid killed by William and Evan Afton. So where did the 6th dead kid go???? 19:09 the bodies were never found. That was the whole point. They knew William did it but couldn't convict because lack of evidence. Police scanners were made by Henry to keep William out because he was trying to cut him off. 19:34 marking this I believe the simple answer is the withered animatronics are just affecting the ai. 20:26 as you are reminded later, mike fritz, Mike Shmit, Micheal Afton are all the same person. They get fired for the same reason. Jeremy was told to stand near the animatronics for the last birthday party at FNAF 2 so that's why it's believed he got bit. 21:43 where did Freddy's in 1984-1985 come from? So, my general comment is I'm surprised you skipped over the FNAF 2 mini game where you follow the purple guy as Freddy, and you see 5 kid bodies on the floor and then get attacked by purple guy. People like to call this the dead children's incident, but I don't think it really happened. Phone guy says that someone found a suit in the back, put it on, and now none of them are acting right. This doesn't mean that 5 more kids died. Also, if it is believed that William came back and killed 5 more that would mean the facial recognition that Henry made failed and i don't think that would have happened. Also, if 5 more kids were found dead at the FNAF 2 I don't think it would have remained open for another day for the bite of 87 to happen. Also, if 5 kids died and then someone got bit, I don't think the talk of the town would be the bite of 87 it would be the dead kids. There is even more evidence, but I'll just leave it at that. 27:28 oh no lol 28:35 if I had to take a guess the shadow guys, bonnie and Freddy, I guess are just chill. And they aren't really mad because they didn't get murdered, they just died in an accident, so they are more so a classic movie ghost. 30:54 wait....the good ending is the one where you free souls the bad ending is the one where the souls don't move on. I'm a bit confused about what conclusion you came to but my evidence of the bad ending being the one that happened is because those souls end up in molten freddy. And if they moved on they wouldn't be around to be in molten Freddy. 46:31 oh so you just believe William just kills more kids. Well I simply disagree. 34:16 simple answer date on the tv. It was called out by Scott so it's all but confirmed the day time mini games happen in 83. Also you never went back to explain this. 34:55 i think it could have been either William or Micheal because that is a motive for both of them. 38:00 he's unconscious. I don't think he would know he was in a hospital if it was the one that got bit. Also the house layout is not the same. 39:30 I don't think it actually happened. I think it is literally Michael having guilt about killing his brother but to say that it's stupid that people believe that it was a real experiment created by William when there is evidence in the books, is kind of dismissive. 40:20 I don't like this logic. None of the games were intended when he made FNAF 1. None of the games past 3 were intended when he made FNAF 3. None of the games past 4 were intended when he made FNAF 4. Sure it may not have been intended but I don't think Scott is trying to retcon his previous games by just having conflicting things. 41:00 Scott said the Halloween update was non cannon. Meaning that whoever we are playing has never dreamed about the Halloween characters. But the characters are cannon. Jack-o-chika and nightmarionne are also in UCN 43:28 again I don't believe it but to call it stupid, is stupid. Again, it's kind of dismissive. Especially since in the movie dream theory comes up and a character asks "do you believe this is true" and Michael's response is "it could be depending on what you believe" Scott is basically confirming that if you want to believe all the games were a dream then they could be. You should really not call theories stupid if you actually believe William killed 5 kids but only 4 of them possessed the animatronics. 44:00 exotic butters are lore relevant. They are in the guidebook which is just more evidence that it was written by Micheal. 46:35 what's more reasonable? William just kills a bunch more kids that we never see or the bad ending of FNAF 3 is cannon and the mini game where William dismantled the animatronics in FNAF 3 was because he brought the parts back to make the fun times. 50:27 that's literally the only reason that it is doubted that sister location happens first, but it has to happen very early in the timeline because it sets Micheal on his journey. So the technology may not have existed in our universe in 1980 but it does in the FNAF universe. 53:10 this is why he is fired for order in FNAF 1 and 2. 53:49 you know as a reality check people say that claiming "Micheal possessed his own body" is stupid. Again, I don't think it is but a lot of people do. 58:44 you know this brings up a really interesting thing. Remnant isn't talked about in the games it's just a book thing so why are you talking that from the books but nothing else. 59:37. You're not going to cover it despite the fact that there are lore mini games in it????? 1:02:05 there is an image with lefty in one of the games. I think it is pizzeria simulator. And I think you can see the puppet in it. 1:02:30 like remnant Henry is a book character so why take that from the books if they are supposedly separate lore. 1:03:15 no. The newspaper says the person was caught but no evidence was found so no conviction. If Henry was in jail then that affects a lot of other things like....who built lefty to catch the puppet, who put the facial recognition in the toy animatronics, who is running the pizzerias if Henry is in jail and William is in spring trap. 1:05:55 how did he do that from jail. Also, major error with saying the good ending for FNAF 3 was cannon because the puppet moved on in that ending. 1:06:55 I disagree. She had to lie to Micheal because she didn't have power over him but in pizzeria simulator, she is more powerful now so she doesn't have to lie. 1:08:35 doesn't this imply that the one you should not have killed is talking about someone in golden Freddy. You were the one saying only Evan was in the golden Freddy suit, but William didn't kill Evan, so your logic is flawed. The general conclusion is that there is another soul in Golden Freddy, and they are running ultimate custom night. I may not continue the lore after ultimately custom night because I believe that is the true ending and everything else is trying to revive the series based on new stuff.
Fnaf 6 (UCN technically) is the end of the Afton story sure, Elizabeth/William/Mike/others are canonically dead. Help Wanted/Security Breach/Ruin are a different saga with completely new characters
4:21 Most FNAF fans that have been in the fandom for a long time, me included, believe that FNAF 1 takes place in 1993, since the paycheck in fnaf 2 is slightly smaller than the one in fnaf 1 and the salary is around similar to a early-mid 90s pay rate for workers at the time. Plus, it took 30 years for FNAF 3 to take place after the first game chronologically, and fnaf 6 probably takes place in the 2020s. So it makes sense that FNAF 4 takes place in 1983, Fnaf 2 in 1987, Sister Location MAYBE in 1986/in between FNAF 1 and 2 (1990?), Fnaf 1 in 1993, Fnaf 3 in 2023, and Fnaf Pizza Sim around the mid 2020s (if that made sense.
the bite of ‘87 does actually take place in fnaf 2 - there’s an ongoing investigation (the previous nightguard, aka william, did some oopsies, and now the animatronics are acting strange toward adults), and jeremy (current nightguard) gets switched over to the dayshift at the end of the fifth night. phone guy tells him to stay close to the animatronics to keep an eye on them. it’s not confirmed but it’s not hard to guess that’s when the bite happened. that’s why 2 is one of the only games with a confirmed date.
As a result of this wonderful, well-informed video, my brain is about to burst at the seams from all of the vast Five Nights at Freddy's knowledge that I so generously received. 11/10. Prove me wrong.
Mike's potential aliases are Mike Schmidt and Fritz Smith. Smith is a last name based on the occupation of blacksmithing. Working with metal. Schmidt is the German version of the name. Fritz is a German shortening of Frederick. And also means glitching or broken. "On the fritz." Michael is the name of the warrior archangel who kicked Satan and his army out of Heaven and is the saint of protection against evil. So essentially, Michael is a warrior against evil, uses the ancestral surname for metal workers, and in Sister Location says "Something is wrong with me." He's on the fritz. Oh also Fritz sort of means Fred or Freddy.
@@almightykellus2585 The vikings believed smelting iron with bones gave it strength through spiritual power. When it reality it was the carbon from the bones alloying with the iron to make a very crude version of steel.
My only gripe with this explanation is that Glitchtrap and Burntrap are pretty obviously just the Mimic, all evidence points towards this being the answer. Afton never came back as a virus, he just died
40:17 Both the Illusion Discs from the Silver Eyes Trilogy and the Hallucinogenic Gas in Tales from the Pizzaplex are valid evidence that Fnaf 4 was actually real, also the fact the Fnaf 4 House is shown to be a real place during Sister Location (The very next game) The most likely answer is it's both
You can really be considered an expert on Fnaf by now. I had never heard of the purple/golden Freddy Easter egg in Fnaf 3 and I had to check if it was real, and lo and behold it sure was. As of writing I’m only 1/4th through the video and it’s hilarious. Works quite well while I work on my Dnd campaign :)
im like 20 minutes in and you're already proving yourself to be the most based person ever. Also, this is the best FNaF Lore video I have seen in a while (the decision to go with just canonical game stuff is great! Though I am sad at the lack of FNaF World-) Edit: HELL YEAH! SHADOWS AND PHANTOMS APPRECIATION! Edit 2: THE SHADOWS BEING THE SPRINGLOCK VICTIMS THEORY! Man, I love that theory. It makes way more sense than any current explaination for the Shadows. Edit 3: Love your take on Sister Location. Like, yeah that shit was wild and falling apart. Also, funny af Edit 4: NOOOOOOO NOT ROCKSTAR FREDDY! He's my absolute favourite animatronic! :(((
as a fnaf fan since 2014 its nice to hear the full story all over again without some weird headcanons, good video! but I have to dissagree about one thing, and thats where SL is in the timeline, cause in the newest Tales From The Pizza Plex book (they're canon to games) in the story called Dittophobia it is said that SL might take place shortly after FNaF 1, because when Rory (the main protagonist of Dittophobia) is inside CBEAR in 1993 Funtime animatronics are still in the location in their normal form, meaning SL didn't happend yet in 1993. So for me SL is shortly after FNaF 1 (decebmer 1993 since FNaF 1 takes place in november 1993, or early 1994), and about odor, I think that Mike's odor is because he was "tampering with animatronics" and we know that the animatronics had a rotting childs bodies inside, and we know from fnaf 1 (or other game) that the animatronics were't cleaned so they were probably smelly. And for me the real reason why Mike worked at Freddy Fazbears Pizza is because: 1. He was trying to find his brother (Golden Freddy) 2. He was ordered by William to get remnant out of the animatronics (this is what Ultimate guide book says: "Michael is out there, possibly helping his father"), that does make sense since it would explain why Mike uses fake names in both FNaF 1 and 2 and also why he's tampering with animatronics. So to be clear, Mike didn't knew what Remnant is or what his father was up to (he was just doing what his father asked him to do), he discovered that during (or after) Sister Location, that's why he wants to find William, he discovered the truth about his father and now he wants to stop him, and he finds him in fnaf 3. Hope that makes sense, and sorry for bad english :)
Fnaf world is literally a mainline game and Scott said so himself in his Dawko interview, he straight up said he regreted tying it to the canon which means its tied to the canon
I love how he says that he doesn't know when fnaf 1 takes place but its one of the 2 games in the series that has a paycheck which gives you a very definitive date
That was a different continuity. It's interesting tho, since it seems they took the concept and separated it into the Blob and Burntrap characters when making SB.
I believe the afton amalgamation was a 20ft tall (not certain) version of spring bonnie or another iteration of them, comprised of many scrap parts, then again, I could be completely wrong, as I am too lazy to check :P
@@blu8009 i dont know 100% either but ill take your word for it! and who knows maybe the end of security breach is leading to that with the blob sucking afton up or whatever
35:55 he clearly isn’t because we see Cassidy and Michael speak and they don’t know each other. If Cassidy was the CC, he or Michael would be mentioned it, or given some indicator that they knew each other before that point.
1:02:05 There’s the loading screen you could show. Also, Lefty is named Lefty because L.E.F.T.E. is an acronym. It stands for Lure, Encapsulate, Fuse, Transport, Extract, meaning lure in Charlie, capture her, become one with her, take her to the Pizza Place, and extract her soul. Lefty is also programmed to regularly alternate between music to soothe Charlie and high-voltage electrical shocks directly into the Marionette’s skin. As for the eye thing, it wither has all of Lefty’s sensors in it, is to make him look broken (supported by his animations), or for literally no reason. Also, can we talk about how messed up it is for Henry to put his daughter up for sale at a cost of just $5? We’re never even told that the magazines are Fazbear inc. magazines (despite containing the Rockstars and Funtime Chica, who are 100% Fazbear owned), so presumably some random person could’ve just bought Charlie for $5 after finding her in a magazine
I think just lefty was so cheap because Henry really wanted you to buy it so it could come into the pizzeria to let Charlie pass on. Like all the other animatronics that burn were the scraps and were attracted to the idea of a new pizzeria, but puppet would have no reason to come. So Lefty captured her and he is only $5 so that Michael would buy it. Idk if it’s canon but I heard that somewhere
Yeah its kind of understandable why you guys think the Mimic is not him but William being Glitchtrap and Burntrap has 1 evidence to it while the Mimic has been implied to be both in the books
11:38 BTW the first Freddy’s WAS in ‘85 because VR and the first Fazbear Frights both have references to ‘85, birthday parties, and either Golden Freddy (in VR, his only reference in the game) or Spring Bonnie (in the book, notably out of place at Freddy’s and not Fredbear’s)
he really said there was no dead kids in fnaf 1 even though the news paper articles were the main reason people got interested in the lore in the first place
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO ALSO THINKS THE CRYING KID IS GOLDEN FREDDY!! Everyone be making up this extra character to be Golden Freddy when really Crying Child makes the most sense
for anyone whos confused, the bite of 87 happens in fnaf 3 as the closing of it. Making jeremy aka the nightgaurd being killed by mangle. The bite of 83 happened with crying child (or chris/evan afton) being lost without a frontal lobe and died after. this happened by fredbear in the early stages of williams and henrys cooproation.
A few details The PQ ending is an alt route to the kill vanny ending, freddy gets dismantled before the ending branches The blob/Tangle was always the name a leaked security breach beta just outright said it
So in Fazbear's Fright's there's this substance called Agony, it's similar to Remnant but it allows for objects to be haunted without the presence of a spirit, it's widely speculated that the Blob is an Agony monster
I want more of these, explaining this slow spiral into insanity as your friends are forced to endure it is just so fun to watch unfold. Kingdom Hearts yeah, speaking as a fan, would make for a great next video; ..the story, lore, and retcons get so convoluted, it's so funny trying to explain any of it to non-kh fans.
With the withereds in fnaf 2 they were used as spare parts for the toys far as I know that’s another reason why the toys go after you in fnaf 2 cause the withereds are haunted there haunted parts are added into the toys
golden freddy is both REAL and a ghost/hallucination. also call me crazy but i think matpat is right about gregory being a robot of the crying child. fnaf is a weird series and it would’ve be without the realm of possibilities.
I love when people do this. I still remember the streams when Barry was taught kingdom hearts lore and i heard "We'll get to that, and im still pissed off about it"
You forgot the newspaper clippings in Fnaf 1 that talk about the missing children and the killer. This is also where you put together that they are in the animatronic suits.
15:45 I would like to point out that the fifth child appears in the middle of the screen a split second before Golden Freddy jumpscares you, so the fifth child is Golden Freddy
OK so great video but Golden Freddy is definitely possessed by at least one of the 5 missing kids (yes he MAY also be possessed by the crying child). In the puppet minigame when you put the fourth kid into a suit, a fifth body appears in the middle for a single frame, followed by the Golden Freddy jumpscare.
I think Golden Freddy from fnaf 1 is Cassidy since she's the vengeful spirit, and was the one who organized ucn, and the crying child is the Golden Freddy from fnaf 2 since he summons Fredbear in ucn if you attack him, has wires coming from his eyes like tears, and looks like the Freddy that would have been used during the bite of 83. That's just my personal theory.
1:26:17 I hate to tell you this but if you have Remnant in a dying body that's freshly killed or the body is dying it could regenerate limbs and body organs. And all that is the rules mentioned in one of the many book series
It makes some sense but I think your missing out, not because your not reading the books, if I may, make a small suggestion, I think that the FNAF lore is being looked at backwards, it's not just the impact on the creators of FNAF. William and Henry respectively, but how Fazbear entertainment, has become an entity. Where in the books it shows its products attacking and replacing children, I think both the books and games have 1 goal, show how a conglomerate company, is destroying people's lives using technology. Using things like Fazgoo, odd gasses that cause hallucinations, the Vanni mask, sound illusion disc, to paint the picture that were dealing with a future, where robots are among humans, and we cannot tell them apart from regular humans, basically Sky net in a sense.
1:40 Talking about FNaF in Smash. I wonder, if they would go Koopalings or ARMS route. Cause on one hand I hope in next Smash they will maybe extend the amount of alter skins. This way we could have the original 5 animatronics, then maybe like Monty, Roxanne and Mr. Hippo and some few new ones. Every one of them having some generic moves, with maybe addition of helpers (like Chica using Cupcake, Freddy maybe using Bonnet, Foxy using his Parrot etc.) and then we could have a mix of multiple animatronics for the Final Smash or everyone's jumpscare (but then again jumpscares could be used for the winning screens)? But on the other hand they could just pick one animatronic and very likely it wouldn't be Freddy. Afton could be too much gore-wise. Baby probably would have the most good moveset. A fan fave like Roxanne or Eclipse could work out as well. Especially the latter could have multiple stages and forms to be utilised with new Night/Day mechanics. I guess they could go all out and bring Mimic/Endo - wearing different animatronic suits? Or Vanessa using the Staff Bots. It is definitely a matter of time though, as the franchise is growing. 2:45 Technically Six, considering Chica and Cupcake are a duo. 35:25 I think it's pretty accepted that Crying Child is part of the Golden Freddy. Question is if he is there together with Cassidy or not. 39:45 I mean there is also another book recently released that straight up shows that. Does it matter in a long run? Probably not. 47:00 At least 3 kids. Especially with how Help Wanted and Security Breach plays out and the new movie. There is a chance Vanessa is also his kid, for some reason. 49:50 Remnant is the Ghost Juice. That's probably like the easiest explanation. 56:35 If you are a purple dude who is possessing his own corpse and smells - buy Manscape with a code "CyanCroc" for 15% off on your first purchase. 1:31:50 So this is happening because - Princess Quest ending, when properly played, is part of the disassemble Freddy plotline. You have two choices in that subplot - you either disassemble Vanny or you save her through Princess Quest. This is also another reason why PQ is considered canon ending, because the disassemble sequence is one of the two animated pieces this game have (other being Burntrap ending). And as everything afterwards is called Vanny Boss Fight (even if we don't fight her) - it can be assumed that they consider that one whole part after disassemble, as one big plot point. 1:34:45 Its actually V.A.N.N.I. mask. We aren't sure it is the same mask Vanny left behind. 1:45:36 So like I think it's all mostly solved until the UCN. And I think it's ok to assume that original story and timeline are finished, even if Scott decides to precise some details that we missed. It's easier to understand, if we assume that this is the case and everything after is a new era/saga for this universe. There is also a big chance that Help Wanted 2 does clean up the mess or maybe it will add more to it all, we will see I guess. The original 4-6 games lore and theories were all all over the place until the later games came out. So we could hope same happens with the Mimic era - that everything gets cleaned up.

I love how he promises to explain the bite of 87/83 thing, but then he never talks about it again
just like Scott lol
I still believe the bite was retconned to be in 83, and there no longer is one in 87
@@gechoman44iwantahippo what? there were two bites - this is shown by the pizzeria closing down due to a horrible and traumatizing incident caused by animatronics wandering during the day and acting strange around adults and Jeremy Fitzgerald (a nightguard) being replaced *in 1987*, and the crying child (alive in 1983) was killed as a child. thus, there were two incidents
@@silverysky7040he’s saying that originally he believed that the Bite if 83 was supposed to be the Bite of 87 and it got retconned
MatPat: “Just a theory, A GAME THEORY”
Fuhnaff: “Need more proof?”
Cyan: “We’ll get to that!”
L.E.F.T.E?
@@blacklight683 Yep, it's phonetically called 'lefty' in the sales catelogue.
In my eyes, yes Golden Freddy isn’t real when he shows up - but he’s still a real suit, left somewhere we never see. I think both the crying child and Cassidy can be Golden Freddy and that’s an easy solution - one is tied to the suit spiritually and can appear as an apparition, whereas another was stuffed into the physical suit slumped over in some back room.
this makes the most sense, because if it was something else it'd leave me wondering "why would they remake golden freddy's suit only to not use it?"
fnaf 1 golden freddy is probably just an apparition meanwhile the fnaf 2 golden freddy suit is actually a physical suit.
Oh yeah this was def one of the first nitpicks I had with the video
Very minor though and not exactly needed, it just makes a more coherent picture of what the vibes of the first game are like.
I was gonna say that
also forgot the check at the end of the game which specifies when it takes place.
They also skipped the dci if im correct, which is weird because we actually see that one happen.
Fun fact! FNAF world is actually extremely important to the story of Michael and his younger brother, Henry as well. It is seemingly not a mainline game but it actually is
I have no idea why but when I read this the first time, I thought you were saying that Henry was Michael's younger brother
Funner fact, it's ALL canon. The games, the books, the movie, ALL of it is canon. FNAF just has different continuities
@@seanwilson5753neither continuity is canon with another
I see FNAF World as an imagination land that Gabriel, Jeremy, Fritz, Susie, and Evan go to after they finally pass on in FNAF 3 but before they enter the afterlife.
@@snickers7079 no, their point is that the word canon refers to a collection of lore or information. technically, all of released fnaf stuff (or most of it, not counting joke games and the like), are part of the whole "fnaf canon," but there are obviously different continuities within that canon
The amount of times “Good question!” Got said, is scarily accurate to how the FNAF story was told to us
The thing with people beliving there's another kid in golden freddy is as simple as... there's 5 missing chilkdren in the incident that gets the robots posessed... and you quite literally see that 5th kid in the puppet minigame (for one frame) and you also also see them in UCN and that shit is not the crying child
Like that's not even entering book stuff that's what the games literally show you
yeah that was what I was thinking too.
I love how there's an objectively good and simple story in here, that Scott objectively chose to avoid making it canon just to swap it out with the most ridiculous nonsense ever conceived
You actually totally forgot something about Golden Freddy. That being, there is a fifth missing kid. We hear that there were five missing children in the newspaper in FNAF 1, and we see a fifth dead kid that appears right before the Golden Freddy jumpscare in Give Gifts, Give Life
Bro forgot the basics
haha okay this is legit one of my fave explanations of fnaf lore out there
not only that, but introducing it to friends that are on the periphery of knowing fnaf lore is perfect
so funny and so well put together!
I have learned the word periphery
@@eboone same ngl
i think the explanation that william is studying remnant bc he hopes to bring his son back, who was the very first to die, and simply goes off the deep end eventually is a lot more satisfying than him wanting to know why dead kids wont keep being dead
btw scott confirmed in the Dawko interview that Fnaf world is cannon.
i mean old man consequences shows up in ucn how can it not be canon

More likely answer, William killed Cassidy via Springlock Failure, explaining why Cassidy is far more vengeful than the other Ghosts
I mean yes, but it's not confirmed at all and probably isn't true
@@kadegetslaid634 It simply makes the most sense for Cassidy to be killed via Springlock Failure, it’s a far more painful death than anything else William could have possibly done, and it’s a perfect explanation for why Cassidy decides to torture him in UCN
The ending cutscene of UCN shows Golden Freddy twitching in the exact same way Springtrap was in Fnaf 3’s trailer
@jaydenlobbe7911 honestly true, didn't think about thay
it makes no sense for golden freddy to be possessed by two people, crying child didn’t die in fredbear, he died in the hospital which is confirmed in fnaf 4. weve never seen 2 souls in one animatronic either
im so glad youtube recommended me this video. you guys were funny. reminded me so much of old Lunch Club and Misfits vids before they all broke up.
There's no evidence of robot kids in the games, the last robot kid was in the Fourth Closet which came out in like 2018
Or. Or. Fuck the books.
Wait, there's a reason why Shadow Bonnie is your enemy? What is the reason?

Peace, and perhaps even more, when the smoke clears.
But all of this is just a theory right?
A game theory?
I feel thankful that I watched this.
This is such a fun video lmao, love seeing people’s initial reactions to the chaos and confusion that is this franchise. You also did a really great job at organizing it all and making it about as digestible as possible considering… how impossible it is to force your way into the lore nowadays…
I’d also like to mention that yeah, it’s almost definitely real that security breach was changed because MatPat just predicted the whole thing- he alluded to a game company contacting him and going something like “dang, you sure you don’t have someone on the inside?” and then the game came out and it was completely different.
Yeah it feels like there's a simple, good, tight knit story here and the entire franchise exists to prevent that story from being canon
This should be for the people wanting the fnaf lore and then matpat's videos are more for people who want to get into the theories.
I couldn’t believe it but fnaf 2 shows a different kid from the missing children’s incident being stuffed into golden Freddy but only the fnaf 4 crying child was laid to rest
where does it say that crying child possesses golden freddy though?
@@mrult28 they recreate his birthday in the fnaf 3 good ending where he wears a golden Freddy mask

@@mrult28well it ain't Cassidy so there's no other candidate, and it lines up with the crying child having an actual birthday pt cuz he dies on his birthday before it even starts
@@MicaW4VE Isn't likely to be crying child too. Why would he possess golden freddy? or any animatronic in that case?
Right before the Golden Freddy jumpscare in GIVE LIFE, the frame before, we see a fifth dead kid. Wow, this is rife with inaccuracy.
The first minigame featuring a child dying outside a Freddy's, the minigame says "SAVE HIM", which the 6th (8th if we're being chronological and don't care about canon, 7th if only sort of care about canon making coherent sense) game contradicts this by making it Henry's daughter.
Yeah it was confirmed to be a Retcon that changed SAVE HIM to SAVE HER, going from a boy to a girl (Charlie Emily)
Scott didn't exactly think about this child being the daughter of the cofounder of Freddy's and it doesn't really matter whether it's a boy or a girl. What really matters if it's Henry's child and if it possessed the Puppet
yeah Scott retconned the “save him” stuff lol
this is the best 2 hours of chaos ive ever fell asleep to
15:27 FNaF 1 and The Silver Eyes and literally all FNaF media has always consistantly said the *five* missing children. Also, Golden Freddy’s corpse *is* in the minigame for a few frames.
the only fnaf lore video i've watched that actually kind of makes sense
Have you watched the Wendigoon fnaf theory video? It makes a complete story by choosing to ignore certain parts and rearranging stuff on the timeline to make the story make some sense
and also the horror aspect of fnaf 4 is amazing. It is most likely the second scariest game in the series after help wanted
the scariest game for me has always been fnaf3. something about the extremely rundown animatronics and building makes it so creepy.
It's funny how the end diagram is just like a conspiracy theorist cork board
1:02:30 Actually, in FNAF UCN when you encounter the Old Man Consequences easter egg the slowed-down screams in the ambiance are someone (presumably William) saying “Henrryyyyy! Miiiiiiike! Rahhhhh! Help meeeeee!”
I love this! I explained the FNAF lore to my friends as well with a slideshow and the amount of times I had to go "We'll get to that" was so funny
The missing childrens incident is established by the posters in FNAF, which is why the FNAF 2 toys have police databases.
My unemployed friends at 2pm on a Tuesday:
Genuinely, this is one of the best fnaf lore explination videos I've seen.
Nights 1-6 paychecks say Jeremy Fitzgerald 1987 and the night 7 pink slip says fritz smith
12:23 he asked why the golden Freddy was broken.
18:24 marking this
18:41 6 dead kids but you list 5 animatronics so......idk if you are going to talk about this I'm marking it.
27:28 oh no lol
28:35 if I had to take a guess the shadow guys, bonnie and Freddy, I guess are just chill.
Jack-o-chika and nightmarionne are also in UCN
43:28 again I don't believe it but to call it stupid, is stupid.
Actually it's the bite of 83 , the bite of 87 was when a caretaker's face got taken off in (fnaf 2 I believe)
FNAF 6 is the true ending for me. It was perfect. No game after it exists in my head
Fnaf 6 (UCN technically) is the end of the Afton story sure, Elizabeth/William/Mike/others are canonically dead.

Hold up didn't they make a movie on this stuff

Man I'm sooo learnt on FNAF now thank you Cyan Crocomire and Intenseinfernape
Ignoring Cassidy just because you don't like the fact she's apart of the lore is so weird tbh. She's EXTREMELY important

As a result of this wonderful, well-informed video, my brain is about to burst at the seams from all of the vast Five Nights at Freddy's knowledge that I so generously received.
11/10. Prove me wrong.
Can’t believe I watched this entire video, but this is probably the most console fnaf lore video I’ve seen. It just makes sense honestly. Good job.
Blacksmiths have also been thought of as being able to connect with spiritual entities due to having to heat metals to high temperatures
40:17 Both the Illusion Discs from the Silver Eyes Trilogy and the Hallucinogenic Gas in Tales from the Pizzaplex are valid evidence that Fnaf 4 was actually real, also the fact the Fnaf 4 House is shown to be a real place during Sister Location (The very next game)
The most likely answer is it's both
My favorite part is when they just talked about balls for 3 minutes straight
You can really be considered an expert on Fnaf by now. I had never heard of the purple/golden Freddy Easter egg in Fnaf 3 and I had to check if it was real, and lo and behold it sure was. As of writing I’m only 1/4th through the video and it’s hilarious. Works quite well while I work on my Dnd campaign :)
im like 20 minutes in and you're already proving yourself to be the most based person ever. Also, this is the best FNaF Lore video I have seen in a while (the decision to go with just canonical game stuff is great! Though I am sad at the lack of FNaF World-)
Edit: HELL YEAH!
Also, funny af
Edit 4: NOOOOOOO NOT ROCKSTAR FREDDY!
And for me the real reason why Mike worked at Freddy Fazbears Pizza is because:
1. He was trying to find his brother (Golden Freddy)
I love how he excluded the fnaf books despite them demonstrating so much lore and it gets proven in future games
THE BOOKS ARE IMPORTANT!
Fnaf world is literally a mainline game and Scott said so himself in his Dawko interview, he straight up said he regreted tying it to the canon which means its tied to the canon
"we're only touching Canon stuff"
Less than 5 seconds later "No FNAF World"
Fnaf world isn't canon
im so glad i know the fnaf lore now, highest quality video, many thanks
I love how he says that he doesn't know when fnaf 1 takes place but its one of the 2 games in the series that has a paycheck which gives you a very definitive date
also, with the blob/the tangle debate: dont the books refer to something like the blob as "the afton amalgamation" ? thats a wayyyyyy cooler name
I don’t think the blob/tangle and the Afton amalgamation are the same character.
The Blob and Afton Amalgamation are different things

Leaving out the security logbook from this timeline was a big mistake because it has tons of important information.
@@myralyra2404 Why not just put Lefty in the vents then?

What do you mean "making up"? We see a 5th kid. Personally, I prefer a mix of FollowVictim and FreeVictim.
for anyone whos confused, the bite of 87 happens in fnaf 3 as the closing of it. Making jeremy aka the nightgaurd being killed by mangle. The bite of 83 happened with crying child (or chris/evan afton) being lost without a frontal lobe and died after. this happened by fredbear in the early stages of williams and henrys cooproation.
Little did they know, the movie did not fix the timeline. It pulled a harry potter and is its own separate version of the story.
A few details
The PQ ending is an alt route to the kill vanny ending, freddy gets dismantled before the ending branches
The blob/Tangle was always the name a leaked security breach beta just outright said it
One small mistake: the clip of William Afton screaming “Michael Henry Save Me” is from UCN by only having old man consequences on 1
So in Fazbear's Fright's there's this substance called Agony, it's similar to Remnant but it allows for objects to be haunted without the presence of a spirit, it's widely speculated that the Blob is an Agony monster
it’s agonising every time someone makes a really smart connection and you have to be like “it’s actually stupider than that, sorry”
I still remember the streams when Barry was taught kingdom hearts lore and i heard
"We'll get to that, and im still pissed off about it"
Genuinely super helpful for getting back into the series. I stopped after a while and Oh My God?? What has happened here…
There definitely is mentioned of the dead kids in FNaF 1. There's newspaper clippings that show up talking about children going missing.
In full knights armor: "ARE YOU SUGGESTING THE 5TH SOULS IN THE CUPCAKE?!"
34:49 Fun fact: the only person who we have any evidence for saying that is Bouncepot because he said so and also he did the bite of ‘87
1:26:17 I hate to tell you this but if you have Remnant in a dying body that's freshly killed or the body is dying it could regenerate limbs and body organs.
13 seconds in and I'm already aware that this is going to be absolute gold.
