The cost effective high horsepower articulated tractors of the 90's almost doubled the $$$$$ in the 2000's!
This has been an amazing series on all the tractors from each decade. 🚜🚜🚜
mid 90s to mid 2000's best years!! I just like the box car Magnums early 8000 series Deere's and the beloved Genesis New Holland
1ö
Our 2002 New Holland TS 100 is one of my favorites from this decade since it was my Dad's first major tractor purchase and the first cab tractor on our farm.
The older Case IH tractors are the coolest, the 305 magnum Gold was pretty darn neat.
Massey Ferguson man thanks Jason they all nice
Always a massey Ferguson fan grew up with them in the 60s&70s
you do an awesome job bigtractorpower, a fella learns alot just watching your vids
Thank you for watching. Stay tuned for the 2010s.
@Ridin' Green thanks :)
My all time favorite tractor is the JOHN Deere 7810- 8410-8530,,, thanks for sharing your videos looking forward for future videos
peanut Smith 7810 the best haha 🤙🏾🤙🏾
I really enjoyed this through the decades series! Very well done like normal, I think it would be a really cool to do the same thing with combines through the years! It's absolutely insane how much they have progressed through the years and a video to show that would be awesome!
Love my 2002 9420 programmed to put out some big power , 8000 hrs and counting
I like enjoy the agco line something about those beautiful orange tractors
Absolutely the New Holland 430 but all of them is just awesome tractors
the agro dt250 and the massy where the best looking tractors to me and i owen john deere s
They've been good to me. It's all we run. Thanks for the compliment coming from a jd guy 😁
That was one pretty 9520 JD! Also loved the AGCO DT and the New Holland
Hey big tractor power come down to Central Texas we are planting corn with a 8360r with a 24 row planter planting corn you’re invited just let me know I’ll talk to you love the content.
Man, the golden magnum looks good👍
New holland 9884 with 850/60/38 tires and with front weights and rear weights that thing was a beast.
Ohhhh now we’re talking! I love the early 2000’s! I can’t think of a tractor I don’t like!
They all were sweet, but that 340 hp, VT #1 To me.
powerful tractors
That 9520 is awesome.
why would a 500 horse Cat be pulling that little cultivator thing
CaseIH 8950 is my fav!
I’ve watched all your videos you do a great job with them . I’m partial to the new holland , and case IH . Versatile !!
Thank you for a great video!
Another great video! My fav is the Case Magnum 305 in this video. Great combination of power, features and versatility. Plus it's the model I usually drive on our farm. 😁
This video is very detailed and informational!!! Great video
I spent a season driving one of those 9520's running on triples for Mike Allen in ND. Loved that Detroit Legacy series engine heritage, made for some awesome pulling power. Excellent video and excellent sound quality for a heavy diesel tech to juice over down here in almost locked down New Zealand.
The CVT transmission has really changed and improved the efficiency of tractors.
Adam Rogers How?
interman 77 fuel savings and being able to plant, bale, spray etc at any present speed without gears changes. And less maintenance with AGCO tractors sporting the Fendt CVT.
@@danielaltman9945 Brilliant transmissions having worked on and driven them. I don't like driving anything without one now personally haha
Great video! John Deere is still my favorite. Thanks for sharing! Have a great and awesome day!
John Deere 9400 is by far my favorite of all time
That 305 Gold Edition Magnum 👌🏼
I rented a 2009 New Holland T- 8050. Coming from someone who's used to driving 70's and 80's decade tractors, it was like climbing into a spaceship. Never driven anything that new, was a nice tractor though.
My favorite tractor from the 2000s would probably be a 74 or 7530 John Deere, so many great tractors to choose from though
2008 John Deere 8530 is my favorite best tractor we’ve had
Wow, awesome vid
Incredible collection of tractors! I won't name a favorite, but I truly enjoyed seeing the cab suspension working on that beautiful orange Agco. I was hoping we'd see a high-hp Fendt (800-900 series) but I guess you can't have everything! Great footage of the Massey and Deere planter flexing over that uneven terrain. Those Gold edition Magnums are cool, and the standard Mags are the closest thing on here to what I'm running (New Holland T8 Genesis from the 2010s.) You showed us duals, front duals, triples, tracks, and zero 2WDs. Once again I enjoyed the variety of tractors and implements (and Gleaner combine cameo). Great compilation.
Bigtractorpower, I sent you an email about possibly filming our equipment...
Another GREAT VIDEO.
I’m a 14 year old farmer and I love that JD Green!!!
we have a IH 674 with a loader and still use it today , everyday really for feeding etc , loved the John deer 3050 , but have to say the Ford 6600 was a really good work horse
I love to see the Steiger tractors also the AGCO DT2508 I thought them was great for that time.
The JD 9520 has an output of 364 HP at 1900 rpm engine speed on the PTO. A super tractor with large twin tires on the video. Bye Hans.
Like all the vedio of the differnt years thanks
The newer the tractor, the quieter and less coal roll from the exhaust. I love when the engine is loaded with a load and loud with coal rolling.
The case is stunning, all big artic steer tractors are.
👋thanks 👍😊
Great video!
JD 9520 for me. Keep up the good work BTP, we are locked down in the UK so need BTP to keep me going 👍
Hard to pick out a favorite. The JD & Case IH were both great. It was good to see the AGCO tractors looking a good bit better than they did in the 90's. NH was impressive. Not a slacker in the bunch. At least I think so.
John Deere 9520 all the way
😁👍👍
Gold edition case 👍
I liked the John Deere 7000Ten series
Big Wow on this vid👍I could tell my experience on nearly all these tractors biggest impact would be 9520 it nearly turn me green, miss AGCO orange as last link to Allis Chalmers, with merger of CaseIH n New Holland there would be internal struggles which by 2020 they want there own identity as CaseIH struggle in small medium tractor sales as MX135 was there last best tractor. From there ARGO capitalised brand name McCormick n tractors from CNH merger, with MX aka MX135 chassis they improved this platform which farmers took note. Strange times with Versatile, they managed to survive n by 2020 well established especially here in Australia.
I hope you don’t have doubts in your mind sir about people not liking your videos because all of us that have subscribed to your channel should speak for itself
Another great video BTP. Thank you sir. Mine is the JD articulating 450 hp. 🤠
8660 Massey is my favorite. And that orange Agco is a sweet looking tractor.
😁👍👍
My favorite is John Deere 8520
What is the implement the tracked challenger is pulling? Looks kind of like an aerator, maybe? Nothing like that in my limited farming world.
No 8010 or 8020 John Deere?? A lot of people consider those to be this best tractors John Deere ever made
Wrong time frame.. He said from 2000 to 2009..
deangelo pack uh no? 8410 was made 99-02 and an 8420 was 02-05
Your original post is misleading because John deere made a articulated tractor modeled 8010 and 8020 during the early 60s.
I apologize. I was meaning the fixed frame row crop series tractors.
I've really enjoyed this series of videos. Yep you know it, I prefer the red CASEInternational tractors. LOL I've notice that there seems to be just one tractor brand that has not been bought out or merged into a another company, John Deere. Seems like AGCO has gotten most of the tractor brands & New Holland CASEInternational has even been grabbed up by another company. Stay safe.
Already 29 dislikes, I would think people would respect farmers & foresters more after the latest shopping frenzy.
I watched your 70's, 80's and 90's videos. I noticed the prices going up.
My question is: When considering inflation in the economy was the price of a tractor (pound for pound) pretty much the same through the decades?
International harvester tractors
I live in Deere,Case and New Holland country but I really like those Massey and Agco tractors. Sure would like to operate one some day.
😁👍👍
Got to be the Magnum, though prefer the European single fat tyres to the duels, just looks more beefy with singles.
Love the videos, keep up the good work.
Case IH 535 my fav...///
I have never seen a pull type forage harvester that has 4 axles
You don't see very many of the ZTX McCormicks around, they looked like decent machines.
Great video! I grew up watching the farm equipment made in the early 2000s. Hard to believe it was twenty years ago. My favorite tractor was the John Deere 9520.
Love the JD Greenstar receiver on the Massey.
It works best for the 1790 planter. The farm just traded the Deere 1790 for a WHITE 9800VE.
That Massey had def that one is from 2011-13
It had the small exhaust pipe which should mean it's an 2009? Mine is an 09 and it has def.
Its funny when you see certain tractors because of mergers they come in different colour n badge set ups like the "New Holland/Buhler/Versatile" or the big Masseys in the 90's
My grandpa’s old 2002 Case Ih MX270 he just traded for a 2013 Case Ih 290
The MX270 was a big deal when it was introduced in the fall of 1998. Biggest Case IH Magnum you could get. That’s cool your grandpa had one. A 290 is cool too.
bigtractorpower he had for 14 years and it’s the only tractor I remember being on his farm but he gave it to a local farmer and it’s shut down in a field and won’t even move out of its tracks and the tractor on lost I think 5,000 dollars when he sold it
Great video the AGCO DT250B had to be my favorite!
The DTBs were cool tractors. There was a DT300B planned for 2011 but AGCO tractors were phased in 2011.
We’ve got a CASEIH CVX 1170
Be interesting to see how the next 50 years goes in farm tractors
what is the chalenger pulling behind it
Liked seeing that McCormick on the Dion chopper. Dont see to many of them McCormicks around. Only 1 I have seen is triple bypass but that dont count
Б..ть мечта а не трактор 👍👍👍
John Deere 9520T
Whats about the 60s :p. Great video
I want to do the 60’s but I need to find several classic in the field to film like an Allis-Chalmers D21, Case 1030, Ford 9000 or 8000, Minneapolis-Moline G-1000 Vista and Oliver 2150. I do I have an IH 1206 and John Deere 5020 filmed. Maybe the 60’s video will happen some day.
Rantoul Illinois show would be your best bet to see 60's tractors in one place in the field working
@@bigtractorpower farm near me used to to have a couple ford 9000's unfortunately they sold out couple years back and auctioned off so i dont know where the tractors ended up.
✌️✌️✌️✌️
John Deere all the way
2+2 was the best
When will we get the tractors of the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s?
I am closer to completing the 60’s. The key is finding the tractors in the field to show one for each brand. 60’s is about 75% filmed. What you see in these videos is 6 years of footage. The 60’s era is harder to find just working. The 50’s fairly hard. Going back farther would be great but nearly impossible to cover all the brands doing actual farming. Hopefully the 60’s will get completed.
John Deere
CaseIH Gold Demonstrator models
Love the videos, keep it up
Thank you for watching. One more to go covering the 2010’s.
@@bigtractorpower what will you do after that?
The JD 4020, the IH 806 are my best all time greats.
So there are basically 3 ? (parent) companies that make all the tractors?
Yes the big three are John Deere, CNH and AGCO. Versatile and McCormick are their own companies.
@@bigtractorpower Wasn't McCormick a name from the past? They were red machines Farmall or perhaps before them? which merged with ...
John Deere 8030
👍👍
My fav in this video was the John Deere 9520 with 450hp..
The JD 9520 has a boost power of 492 ENG HP. He is also my favorite. Bye Hans.
John deere 9620 4wd
👍👍
👏👏👍👍🇧🇷🇧🇷🚜🚜🚜🚜
I'm ready to see that ole girl of your's out doing some work....
