Is National Trust Fountains Abbey Worth A Visit?

Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden are a National Trust property located on the outskirts of Ripon, North Yorkshire.
The site contains three attractions:
* Studley Royal Deer Park (free to enter) - parkland home to over 300 deer.
* Studley Royal Water Garden - Georgian water garden
* Fountains Abbey - Ruins of Cistercian monastery
The site was designated a UNESCO world heritage site in 1986 as they consider the landscape to be a feat of “human creative genius” which is one of the ten criteria for being recognised.
In this video we tour the grounds on a rainny day in March to explore the overall experience, facilities on offer, food drink and shopping opportunities and value for money to give the day out an overall score.

Places like this remind me of the BBC series Yorkshire Walks (although I don't think they featured this exact place). I enjoy a visit to a National Trust property, although the one-off admission is pricey. It's worth checking their website, as I've had quite a few free visits in the autumn.
