I've eaten at Ekstedt and it's a great experience. The restaurant is really informal, the staff are incredibly friendly and really generous in sharing the techniques and materials and the food they deliver is incredibly tasty and refined. The problem is the portion sizes are tiny and the bill is astronomical, with wines you'll be looking to pay around £180 per head, that price coupled with the tiny portion sizes did leave a slightly bitter after-taste (no pun intended) and it's hard to recommend the place to others. Having said this, I'm an admirer of Niklas, I do love the restaurant and if you have the means, it's definitely worth a visit.
I think lot of times is not about product price, but to not owerfeed the guest, to dont let them lose the feel of flavour, but maybe they are realy litle small, hope they have fixed that.
Saw this you on Alex’s RUclips channel, he seems so cool. I basically learned how to make meatballs from him and am making them now as I listen to this oops they’re burnt shouldn’t have typed, I’m not kidding
