    Sir one drawback that i feel with the xmax formula is when we have 0 and 3 as our levels, it gets equated to 6 but it should get equated to 3.... Vmax-Vmin/step-size seems better in this case

    In the previous video of playlist, the mean error is given (Delta)^2/L.
    In this video, it is derived to zero and variance as (Delta)^2/L.
    Can you please clarify me...?

    Hello sir! I have a problem..can you help me please sir..
    The output signal to quantization noise ratio in a PCM system is defined as the ratio of average signal power to average quantizing noise power. For a full scale sinusoidal modulating signal with amplitude A. prove that (SNR), (S/N)= 3/2q²
    Or (S/N)= 1.76 +20 log q = 10 log (S/N₁)

    Why quantization noise occurs in Digital communication? and how it can be minimize?

      It is difference in between analog signal and quantized signal, so if you increase resolution of quantizer than we can reduce quantization noise, by increasing resolution we decrease step size.
