Coll is the fittest player on the tour, a massive engine that just keeps going, he's also playing the best squash of his career.

I'm getting the same feeling watching Coll's latest matches as I do watching Willstrop. The accuracy is getting that good. Awesome to see and deadly when combined with his physicality.

Is PJ back? Gosh! he's such an insightful squash commentator with a delightful voice.

5:27 I'll be trying this new split-step version today, very stylish from Hammamy.

Only reason he needed to step like that is because he went the wrong way 😂

      Warrior-3 yoga pose. 4D chess.

Love that last point from El Hammamy. His legs were gone, no chance of winning at all, still giving 100%. Lots of pros don't commit like that and it makes a difference in the longer run.

If Hesham played more risk-averse, he could be within the top 10.

I never really cared for Rooney, but I saw the match, he really impressed me...

10:00 you can't play a ball when you're off balance... allowing this type of interference is going to lead to intentional interference used as a tactic which is wrong. That ref made some bad decisions.

In this case, I agree. Look at Soliman's "clearing" direction....he moves upcourt into ElSho's shoulder, and we all know why. Soliman is the guilty party here.

Farag and coll much stronger than the rest except perhaps asal. Shorbagy looking like he's finally slowed down.

In what world is 0:46 a let? Come on, Momen….

You are right. That is a massive No Let. :-)

From a no let to a stroke, I feel as though there's a certain harshness towards the players and maybe a let should be given instead of always a no let

  • @ddboy123ful
    @ddboy123ful 3 года назад +3

    2:04 is a no let.

    • @altaroxllc3184

Looks like a Stroke to me. Why do you say No Let?

@@altaroxllc3184 IMO he took the wrong line. Definitely could have gotten to the ball had he went forward. However, he went into the player. Had he continued on the line he took, he would not gave gotten to the ball.

The fact refs are still playing a part in matches these days is so annoying, almost never see them give a simple let anymore
