Referee's decisions seemed fair and well explained. Elaraby was initially going the wrong way or line each time due to the subtle holds from Noor. That's why she remains the player to beat. And probably the goat.
Help me understand. When they talk about "the line to the ball", does this in fact mean to the first bounce? Because the No Let at 10:00, sure looks like Elaraby could have played a decent volley.
El Sherbini did a poor job clearing throughout the game and the refs let her get away with it. Elaraby could have done better preparing some of the shots, so that she would get the strokes that she should have gotten. There is no doubt in my mind that with objective refs the game would have gone to Elaraby.
What fantastic referring about time applying the right interpretation to the rules allow free play Ellaraby relying too much on her looks to get the strokes not this time pretty girl.
