The instrument that sounds like an acoustic guitar or acoustic guitar is actually a traditional Kazakh instrument called a "dombra". We can see him using this instrument in the songs "Dudarai" and "Adai+Daididau" or as part of the Durdaraz arrangement!

I can appreciate his beautiful voice and great performing skills, but somehow it doesn't get me in the feels. Seems strange even to me. Agree he is impressive.
Perhaps instead of the word Opera, you might choose classical.
Opera is a heavily structured genre and has nothing to do with high notes.
Many famous Metal singers in the 1980's had classical training but used their training to sing Metal, not even close to Opera.
You are absolutely correct that Dimash is incredible.🪷
I love this song but it did take some time for me to warm up to a few of the elements of it.
I am not a fan of short songs for short attention spans but understand that Dimash must bend somewhat to appeal to young /modern trends.
The "flames" dancing in this video are exceptional. I have always been one for activating multiple avenues for brain development so the visual arts are almost as important to me as the singing.

Dimash is not an opera singer and he sings lots of pop songs ever since. He does what he wants cause he is an independant artist. He surprises us again and again😆
We need to see you react to "Olimpico," (the version on composer Igor Krutoy's channel), and, of course, his full-on opera duet with legendary opera singer Placido Domingo. "Olimpico" is the perfect example of Dimash's ability to mix pop and opera into a unique and exciting piece of music that might literally blow your mind.
Ask what can he not do,??!! He can do Opera,rock,Metal,Jazz,rap,etc,etc,etc.He does whatever he likes ,he never follows the music industry,but exactly what he feels like doing!

Dimash has two facets, he is a music maker and an entertainer. What more could you ask? OK, he has incredible range and tone as well as musical skills but they are secondary.

Yayy Anaheim. I was there a week ago. Yes Dimash is the king of vocals but also the king of genre mixing. Love everything he does. Thank you for your reaction.
It's nice to see you react to Dimash but he's not an opera singer, he's had a strong classical training but he's never wanted to be an opera singer and singing high notes does not make it Opera otherwise we would be classing Mariah Carey as an opera singer.
Also Dimash's voice is so distinctive that he can never be generic! If you only appreciate him for his high notes then there is an awful lot of his music that you won't appreciate.
I appreciate his high notes because without them I don’t think this particular song would be as great as it is
