Hey man, just watched your video and love it! I downloaded this model off thingaverse and seem to be having some problems with printing it. Do you mind if I ask how you managed to detach the face mask from the helmet itself on the model? If you could provide me any help I would greatly appreciate it!
wow, sorry for the late replay. Meshmixer. its a free program. I had to take the file in, click edit and seperate shells. then you have to take each shell into meshmixer and click edit and make solid. or some pieces will be paper thin
Did you know that Make it yours in Ark City sells 3d filaments and printers? I haven't tried them yet, but they are located where Bryant's hardware used to be on Summit St.

unfortunately I dont have the file anymore. Im always cleaning out my computer. sorry. there are a few full helmet stl's on thingiverse. take one of those to meshmixer (its a free program), click edit and seperate shells. then save each piece of the shell to seperate files. make sure you take each piece back into meshmixer and click edit then click make solid. I just did that process to this helmet www.thingiverse.com/thing:3148381 and it worked fine. its already full sized
