In my unprofessional but personal experiential process Joel is being open and honest in ways I am not when asked these type questions. Yes a big part of identity is your work combined with work ethic and that is okay for a Christian. Sometimes we aren’t given the freedom to be that part of our makeup. God provides gifts and we use them for His glory. I’m grateful that Joel said he just got off a therapy call. I can relate to the difficulty that can be behind that openness. It shows anyone with a public persona of having this put together life can be examining an internal struggle not always visible to, in this case, fans; and even coworkers and family. Do you have any idea how hard those first identifying moments can be? God’s blessings, of course. Essentially strength He gives when I lean into Him to uncover those onion layers. Never give up the process no matter how hard it seems. Thank you Joel and be encouraged everyone. Centered on God’s love!

Jesus said pray without ceasing! I wonder who’s whisper he is expecting?? No we should ask God to forgive us our sins. Wow I’m really surprised! He sounds so religious but what about a relationship with Jesus?? I’m so confused...
In the old testerment of the Bible it says in the parable of Elijah, I believe, it says that God can be found in silence. And that God speaks to us in silence. With a low whisper. Joel meant with the soft whisper the whisper of God that you can only hear when you get the quiet from God.
