  • Surui T-005KX is one of the smallest tripod in the world! And I am so excited to get my hands on it and unbox it with you.
It weights only 0.8 kg (1.8lb) and folds down to 31cm (11.8"). It will be a great tripod for anyone who travels a lot and hates to carry heave stuff.
P.S. I have an update on this tripod - so please watch my recent video before buying it!

A nice small travel tripod i leave it in my hiking back pack it works with my DSLR and 16-50 2.8 lens. The Argo-Swiss compatible ball head works with my Peak Design camera clip attaching my DSLR to the tripod without removing the Peak Design camera clip

Hi Sweety. Watched your both video's on this tripod, which tempted me to do another two on other subjects. Stopped it when it became too enticing.
Although I don't do it normally, I feel obliged to comment.
RUclips has replaced TV for me a long time ago. By now I've accumulated a lot of experience. Coming originally from the realms that overlap with yours (media, design, fashion, publishing - although I don't post video's), some things were immediately apparent to me. 1) Intriguing is that someone as young as you were in 2016 can do such a splendid account on a technical product. I've looked carefully and I'm sure you haven't used any teleprompter. In your charming innocent manner you talked about just the right things, as someone who really uses tripods and knows what matters. 2) This is THE best first video ever on anyone's channel. It is complete, skilled, relaxed, smooth and immaculate. Your frame organization is perfect just as your narration. You must have done it before! Or your parents provide the know-how (genes?). 3) I don't really get the RUclips algorithm. I went through the thumbnail list of your videos. Very relevant topics, knowledgeable titles, tasteful colors and layout, content/story awareness, style, it's simply obvious that you know what you are doing and do it in a classy way. Along with your undeniably irresistible personal charm, it's a true mystery to me that you have that few views and subscribers. OK, now you've got one more subscriber at least😊. Perhaps the clue to this puzzle is that RUclips audiences favor content creators who publish more often and regularly. Although I understand that, I think not everyone has to make a full time job out of his channel.
To sum up: keep up your fine work and charms - the quality is much more important than the quantity. Even if you publish only three video's per year, so what? You are there. It's the content that counts. And with your personality almost everything that you do will be interesting. Best regards from Europe.

I've got the carbon version at a sale for US$130. Works fine with my Fuji X70 but definitely not steady enough for a longer lens.

I understand why thi can be the case. I have used it with ,y heavy a77ii + long lens it worked for me but I wouldn't trust it often.

Hi Sofiya. Thanks for taking time to unbox this tripod and show your Manfrotto fluid head. Two questions, please...First, is this tripod's Center Column adjustable? In other qords, can it be lowered and/or removed? If not, then I would certainly not consider this a "stable" platform, because when the center column is used in the position shown, the camera is at its' Least Stable...especially if you are considering using the large Manfrotto Fluid Head on it! My second question is whether you have actually tried that fluid head on this tripod? If so, I would be surprised if you didn't find the rig very top-heavy (especially with a camera on it!). As for my favorite travel tripods, for smaller DSLRs or mirrorless cameras, the Oben CT3535 is satisfactory, but for larger DSLRs or mirrorless cameras with long lenses (or even in studio use), I totally recommend the superb FLM CP26 Travel Tripod. It's the best built, best engineered, highest quality, most robust tripod I've used in 35 years in photography! It supports a maximum load of 26 lbs, folds down to 15.5" for travel, and the ball head has several unique features, and is of the highest quality. FLM-Canada supplies the US. Thank you, and good luck with your tripod!

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. The center column's top part can be extended but not removed. I actually have used the Fluid Head on it with my heave a77ii + zomm lens and if worked well with me. The only downside it beocmes heavy. I actually don't use the Monfrotto on top because the head moves pretty smooth without it, and it's much more comfortable for travling too. FLM looks like a really nice tripod but its too expensive for what I am doing (I am not a professional photographer). Thank you for the recommendation though and your comment!
