  • About one in 10 Americans who use Adderall or other medications to treat ADHD have been affected by the ongoing shortage of the drug. The FDA originally announced the shortage back in October 2022 and patients are still facing issues filling their prescriptions.

Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.

Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable s0urce here in Australia. Really need!

I wish they were readily available in my place.
Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac.
He's constantly talking about killing someone.
He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.

I completely gave up on trying to get my prescription, luckily I am self-employed and work from home now so caffeine pills and coffee have proven to be just barely enough of a stimulant to take the edge off the symptoms and get me to function ok enough, had this happened during college though I would have failed my classes.

Based on media reports, this is a cascading DEA/FDA manufacturing restriction issue now affecting millions. It started around 2022 with Adderall. Those people were forced to switch medications, which cascaded to shortages in alternatives and so on. For my son, it means greater likelihood of an auto accident or work-related accident where he is an apprentice electrician. I've written to my Congressman, Senators, and the President. At this point, you'd think the number of people affected would get some action. This is a government-induced crisis; completely avoidable.

Yeah I've just given up for the time being. For all practical purposes, stimulant meds just no longer exist as a class of medications. It started with not being able to get one months script filled once in a while to maybe getting one out of three fills, or six. It just wasn't worth the time and doctors fees to continue.
It's not just a matter of calling around and driving to pharmacies. The way Schedule II prescriptions work, there is no flexibility. Technically, there are no refills, but doctors commonly issue you three prescriptions at a time before follow up visits to get more.
The prescriptions are valid only for 90 days, and they will not fill the next one so much as a day earlier than you are supposed to have run out. So as you loose weeks trying to find anything in stock, one or more of the prescriptions simply expire.
There is no latitude for substitution either. If you need, say, 20 mg of adderall and the pharmacy only has 10s in stock, you need to get a brand new prescription issued. The time it takes to get a response from the doctors office means that the 10s will be out of stock by the time you get the new prescription.

My hubby and I both have ADHD. We have been without medication for a couple of decades. Now we are older we are finding it harder to focus with our meds. We just started with Straterra a couple of months ago. It's a non stimulant. Also there are non medications out there like Thesis. The problem is that it costs close to $200 a month, but you can customize it to fit your needs. This is on my wishlist.

Too many people attribute their active children to adhd. As to the drug, they're all Made in India now which has a devastating population so what's the excuse?

Some people don't have ANY kind of coverage and have to rely solely on themselves. That's what you do if you're HARD. Resilient. Tough. Legit. Otherwise, sure, ya gotta rely on medz, drugz, and chemicalz. Instead, just learn to be a legitimately resilient human being. But much to the dismay of most people, this requires work, patience, training, sacrifices, and most importantly... Reflection.
