Gotta love these “experts” that really do not know everything! The cup of coffee icon means TAKE A BREAK! It should only come on if driving too long, or in newer cars, they keep a SCORE of your reactions and inputs and can tell if you are either tired or not engaged.
Does not hurt to do a compression test too when a misfire code appears.Rules out not inside the engine if compression is good.Have seen a misfire in a Chrysler due to one tooth off on the passenger side cam gear from the previous person that did the timing belt job.
A PROPER TECH would be able to tell if the coil is bad, or is just the grime on them by watching/checking the SPECIFIC amperage and voltage signals, in an oscilloscope, of each coil!
Thank you and yes you are correct however the misfire was very intermittent. So I could have tested it and would have tested good but does not mean it was good. Thanks for watching.

I have never claimed to be an expert but thank you.
