Helga's Pennsylvania Cooking that skillet and the two 36” ovens are the biggest pieces of cast I’ve seen close enough to touch
And it was a great show

Cast Iron BBQ yes well the story behind the 36” ovens is simply this Back in the Day the young Apprentice was asked to measure and order 5 new Camp Ovens
So off he goes to the foundry .....
When the Drover went to pick em up he went WHAT !!!!
That’s the measurements he was given
      HaHaHa
The Apprentice measured the circumference (not the Dia)

I have been waiting for this video... Thank you for taking us along!
That's a big skillet! Reckon how big across it is? I've seen (online) some Canadian divided skillets that are 30 inches across. Monsters indeed, and very rare too!
Old engines too? That festival has it all eh bud?
Informative speakers, good food, and those Huge ovens... I love it!

@OldChevy4x4 Do you belong to any of the International Dutch Oven Societies local chapters? I belong to the Susquehanna Iron Masters. They aren't too organized yet, but it's still fun!

Not yet Helga... there is a Middle TN IDO chapter, but as of now I'm not affiliated with them.
