Been given a few comments regarding my channel being written on a bridge. Dont know where the location of this bridge is, nor who did it. I can assure this was not me, and if anything can be done to remove it I would be happy to cooperate.
One thing to keep in mind is the directx support and 3d acceleration in awful in a vk compared to a physical machine and so its sort of apples to oranges for comparison. Everyone else on reddit says it runs fine on windows 11 on physical machine
If push comes to shove, we can always make like OpenRCT2 (assuming iRacing doesn't shut that down). Though I'm pretty sure that NR2003's days are numbered. EDIT: I deleted my previous comment because I noticed that NR2003 was run on real hardware with W11. Sorry about that.
I have been using NR2003 with Windows 11 for a few weeks and besides a few issues with some mods, it works fine. The game crashes when using the NFF Indycar 2020 mod, BBMC Phoenix 2019 mod, and WKC Bristol Dirt 2001 mod. Edit: Disabling DEP fixes Bristol Dirt but not the other issues.
Hey look someone who didnt watch the video This video wasnt about the community giving up on it, it had to do with the fact of whether or not it can be ran on Windows 11 OS

Someone needs to create a port of this game to Linux. That would be FANTASTIC!

Someone should ask Iracing if they can do that!
I think NR2003 will last until at least 2025. But I doubt it'll make it to the end of the decade.
nr2003 use to run on crappy computers for me even on windows 10. i have a really good gaming laptop windows 11 and it runs like shit. serious rip
Did you ever find a fix for the lagginess? Am currently dealing with the exact same issue after getting a new laptop
Hey! I'm looking over old comments right now, and if you can provide any more info, be sure to! I'll try to help.

What’s the installation process on windows 11? Is it different at all from windows 10?

I was running Windows 11 and i had no issues with the BBMC Phoenix (ISM) mod
Update: I fixed all the issues. I needed to install the 4 GB patch.
NR2003 won’t gonna die in 2022 it was extended with a new Cup mod for 2022 that should give us our last 4 years of NR2003

Possible solutions include virtualbox if w11 is indeed a problem.
Like running nr2003 on a vm with windows 7 on that application
VMs and 3D games generally don't mix well given how resource intensive they are.
