Yo I'm so frigging excited. Literally what made Dying light 1 so special to me, is that I get to enjoy everything with my friends!

Looks great. Can't wait to play with my friend on feb 4th. Kinda sad that the goofy animations from first game are gone. They were really hilarious at times ;)
Man I wish I don't have to play an hour of the prologue in order to play with my friends. Hopefully they give us an option to simply skip the prologue.

Took me two and a half hours to finish prologue before I could play with friends and after that the game glitched and can’t even play with friends 🤦🏻♂️

Dead Island had much better storyline... to me, Dying light's backstory was just meh

Is there cross play, i have 3 other people to play with but i am on pc while they are on ps5?
Don't think so.
As for cross-gen, Smektala was asked whether PS4 players can play with PS5 players, and he confirmed that this won’t be available at launch stating, “This won’t be possible at the launch of the game, but we are working to make it possible after the launch.”
Glad to se that they aren't making the same mistake as halo infinite

WHAT THE HECK apparently it isn't cross-gen, I pre-ordered on PS5 and my friend did on PS4😭
That's not what cross gen means. Its xbox to playstation and vice versa. I'm pretty you can still play with playstation 4 player by default.

@@btmanimations7079 actually you assumed correctly in your initial comment. You won’t be able to join your ps4 buddy. Cross gen is ps4-ps5 not crossplay like ps5-Xbox-pc. I looked it up it’s official from the developer.
