- In today's video I am here to talk about Anime Oklahoma 2022. This anime convention happened September 9-11th of 2022. Last year it felt like the pandemic was still looming over us and many people were still apprehensive about attending events. My initial theory was that we would see much more growth the following year. I am happy to report that this turned out to be correct. So come with me again and let's talk about what AOK had to offer this year!

I volunteered for anime Oklahoma in 2019 and it has been a blast. AOK will continue to grow.
I was at the 2019 show. I even came with a few friends.
I really am looking forward to seeing the continued growth of the community. 😁

I was talking to the con director too, I said "You have a lot of balls to deal with the drama." we talked honestly and I feel like he is doing the most he can. I will make it next year!
Glad to hear that! I think the people in OKC (the ones that are still into conventions) are ready to move on. I also believe that every year new people are being exposed to anime and manga. So there will always be new people discovering conventions that aren't even famiiar with the Izumicon drama.
