After 24 hours u have to open all ur taps in ur home...this bleach water will run out ..n let the tank finished ...then again open the motor to fill the tank
I believe it's way too much I think a cup full stirred into the tank should be adequate if the water is like rain water but if it's really dirty then we'll yes it has to be fit for consumption I usually use like half cup for a 500 gallon water tank and stir it in rest for 24 hours then run it a bit and never had an issues also I only used clorax safest
