@@berndskorupinski There is something wrong with all these prop firms. I just checked Surge Trader tradeable financial instruments. They do not provide the possibility to trade stocks. There is a golden rule in trading: 90% of traders lose 90% of money in the first 90 days. One of the reasons for it is that retail traders make their trading decisions based 90% on technical analysis, instead of minimum 80% on fundamental analysis, the same as professionals do trading. Additionally, retail traders day trade while we have spread and other fees, and they are not market makers. So, I get to the point now. You do fundamental analysis of stocks, businesses, together with commodities, other asset classes and you cannot build a professional portfolio like professionals do because prop firms do not provide financial instruments for trading. Most, if not all these online prop firms seem to me that they make money from fees and it's not in their best interest to have good traders, great talent. Ohh and that A book vs B book issue with prop firms is an additionall red flag.

Hi, appreciate the comparison! I'm wondering how does 1: 10 or 1 :20 leverage can impact yours lot size on surge while mff offers 1:100.
Is it convenient? seems like not much of a benefit to a surge to be frank. I wished this also would've been properly reviewed, thanks
Nobody needs so much leverage. You only take between .5%-1.5% risk per trade anyways. So this is more than enough leverage for that.

Only two propfirms with one phase no time limits - Surgetrader and Funded trader plus I believe in future this will become standard

You re welcome. Your question is too difficult to explain in a comment. But you have two different drawdown trailing and balance. You can easily google that 👌

100 with a 1 mil account

I don’t know to be honest. But it will be stated on the website if EAs are allowed. You can also always contact support before buying an audition.

Hey buddy it's correct that the surge trader has much more benefit than the FTMO and other prop Firms but tge reviews in Trustpoilt are not positive enough??
I don’t know. Not working for surgetrader. I can only review what I experience with my 1 million usd account. And I don’t have any issues whatsoever.
I passed a challenge over a month ago and still haven’t received access to a funded account.
There are so many recents complaints about slippage outisde volatile periods of news releases. Problem for withdrawing funds. Are you aware of that?
Not aware of any of these negative things. Don’t have any problem whatsoever
@@berndskorupinski thanks for your reply Bernd. another strange thing, ftmo suspends your account, if you leave a bad comment on trustpilot as it goes directly against their T&C clause 10.1. seems % of good reviews is inflated compared to reality?
Hydrafunding is very similar to Surgetrader but more expensive.
I will for myself only look for EightCap prop firms with full market availability.

These are all I know or in other words all I use. For the other ones I don’t know whether they are good or not. Some of them offer stock cfds but horrible spreads. So I cannot recommend any other stock cfd prop firms at this stage.

To me Yes, I cannot comment for others of course.
Leverage and lot size rules means Surge Trade is not competitive for Day Traders(Who use small SL's), max loss of 8% is also not competitive. Unlimited trading days is nice, but for me FTMO still wins overall
If you stick to proper money management of .5%-1.5% risk the leverage and lot sizes will never be an issue at all.
@@berndskorupinski .5% maybe, 1% would be tough. It's still more restrictive than FTMO or MFF which makes them less competitive
The biggest problem im facing with surge trader right now is that they remove the max drawdown after the first withdrawal. Right?
Just the other day i submitted my withdraw and the support told me that if i withdraw all the profits my account would be breached automatically so they suggested that i build it more and not withdraw all the money so i can have some money for drawdown.
Unless i misunderstood what they meant i think this rule doesn’t really make any sense.
Yes that’s a problem. And I think they need to address this is 2024. Doesn’t make any sense.

Not my cup of tea. Small accounts, small initial payout ratio, the don’t state what markets are available to trade and the list goes on…
FTMO now has reduced the minimum trading days to 4 days

If someone cares about minimum trading days most likely is with gambling mindset. Maximum time limits are reasons for unnecessary pressures
