At the start of the fight gojo legit said he didnt care, and why would he use a 200% hollow purple at the start if he didnt intend to kill sukuna in megumis body? If anything, it was the other way around. Gojo was just trying to kill sukuna, while sukuna used mahoraga to evolve him as a sorcerer, he didnt need mahoraga. He was playing very risky vs gojo as he was trying to beat him while trying to evolve his cursed technique. If he fought seriously it wouldve ended in a few domain clashes

One thing you got wrong is that gojo isnt the "First" limitless and six eyes user there has been plenty before him its just that gojo is that much smarter and better at utalising the six eyes and curse energy. Shit kenjaku has seen multiple and killed multiple six eye users when they were kids
There haven't been "plenty". There have been plenty of sorcerers with the six eyes (whenever one died another seemed to show up) and plenty sorcerers with limitless, however having both the six eyes AND limitless CT is exceedingly rare. I think it's stated to occur once every 400-500 years or so.
