Horses are beautiful animals, and the older ones have so much character! I visit a Draft Horse sanctuary who are some of the nicest herd I've ever come across. Older horses have so much character and are so sweet. I'm so glad that you take on these beautiful old farts! LOL! They are so sweet and loving. I love horses and knew 3 who were in their mid 30's. I called them "The Boys". Loved those guys. Rest in peace Skipper, General and Reno.
You are absolutely amazing both you girls. Very articulate we can hear you clearly and we are a rescue and we have had at least in each horse some of these ailments so the same thing as your senior mix we have purinas senior mix I believe it’s the same as what you mentioned I hope anyway please let me know Canada
Thanks for all your helpful videos. I am just getting into horses and bought our 2nd horse that was supposed to be 14 and we took him to get him vet checked and she said he’s closer 18-20 mark and had EPM. We treated him 4 months and she has released him to do light riding. My question is have you ever had a horse with Epm? If so could you do a video, and also my husband wants to ride him but he’s close to 300 lbs. the saddle is really light the horse is a twh hes 15.3 so definitely a big boy. The vet said he would be fine but I feel like a senior horse may need a lighter rider. What are your thoughts on that aspect. Do you ever have plus size riders come to your ranch? What’s your weight limit for your horses?
