    Jack Thanks for another great video... You are such a fun presenter to watch. Question: Is there any reason why you would not create the site on the domain you are using and use a coming soon until you are ready to actually publish? I am just curious why staging site is preferred... Thanks for being such a great resource for Gutenberg Block editor and plugins.

    • @JackCao
      @JackCao  3 года назад +1

      Personally, if it is a completely new website, I wouldn't set my site as "Coming Soon" because nobody will actually visit the website unless you tell people to do so. So, it is extra work and unnecessary. 😊

    Hi Jack! Thank you for this great video. What will you say about lighthouse speed with preloaders? Will preloader cut some points in lighthouse?

      To be honest, I have not tested this. I may do so soon.

      @@JackCao that will be great Jack, will be waiting if you will add new comment. As far as I know preloaders are cutting some points from lighthouse. But I always tried to do them with custom code. Maybe this plugin is better)

    Hi great but my background image for the hero is not responsive like yours on the mobile. Any ideas.

    • @JackCao
      @JackCao  3 года назад

      I think it is all about trial and error. For this image, I had to resize it a couple of times so that the couple will appear together on the mobile screen.

    Hi Jack, thank you for your video. Can I ask why we choose blocksy, is it because blocksy theme provides a better performance?

    • @JackCao
      @JackCao  3 года назад +1

      Actually, you can use either Kadence, generatepress or Blocksy to do something like this. It is quite a simple site, and tere is no particular reason why I did it with Blocksy. Maybe it could be because Stackable is most compatible with blocksy. 😊

    • @kkho2008
      @kkho2008 3 года назад

      @@JackCao Thank you for your reply Jack! I am actually on a cross road to pick either Blocksy or Kadence Block for my client's project. It is a tough pick as the client concerns about the performance so much.

    • @JackCao
      @JackCao  3 года назад +2

      @@kkho2008 If speed performance is of concern, then go with Kadence because they are CSS reliant rather than Javascript reliant. Blocksy is more of js.

    Hi Jack Cao, thank for you video.... I have question: how to make slider using Gutenberg ? thanks before

    • @JackCao
      @JackCao  3 года назад +1

      In Stackable, there are no slider blocks, but plugins like gutentor and kadence blocks do. If you see the part on image gallery you will see sliders
