You know it's a stitch-face turnip pull by Armada when he doesn't throw it immediately
For real, though, that's why he gets so many. Unlike a lot of other Peach mains from his era, he never held turnips for more than a second, and was always looking for a chance to pull them. He was pulling way more turnips per match than anyone else, so of course it seems like he's getting them all the time!

To answer HBox's question about the odds of pulling a Bob-Omb and two stiches consecutively, I calculated it as 1 / (303 * 58 * 58) = 1 / 1,019,292. Needless to say, pretty absurd.

After getting Falcon Punched more times than anyone in a tourney and fighting a peach who pulled three stitches in a row it's amazing that Mike Haze didn't just quit smash.

I miss watching Armada's Peach when I used to watch Melee, I always come back to armada videos every few years or so when the resurgence of interest in smash bros.

I believe they had the "all turnips are stitch faces" setting on while playing with 20XX, but Mike didn't know that.
To answe HBox's part: the odds of that happening are 2/768 for a bob-omb, 127/7424 for a stitch; to get a bob-omb and then two stitch-face in secuence is 32258/42108452864, which equals to 0.0000766%

No one plays Peach in Sm4sh, and clips got trash aren't as good as Melee.

Turnips were heavily nerfed in sm4sh, they made the turnip-pull way laggier and they reduced the distance that Peach can throw them. So even the good Peach players in sm4sh don't pull turnips very often

What makes the stitchface so good i dont get it? Bcuz ots throwable?
All turnips can be thrown, Stitchface turnips deal 34% base damage and can kill as early as 70%, depending on the character. Which means if you throw up close and re-catch it, you can kill people in 3-4 throws.
For some reason, I always thought the stich-faced turnip was just a really old turnip, and that was wrinkles on it's face.
