Don Jon is a movie I truly enjoyed. I remember when I found online porn as a younger guy, and when I got a partner how that changed things for me. She liked porn, in some genres, but learning to balance what it says about sex and what it means between you and a partner, well, to me, anyway, Don Jon touches on this to some degree. And about Shame, George Clooney is rumoured to have told Fassbender "I think you can play golf with your hands behind your back."
Just finished watching "The Escort." Not bad for a rom-com. 2 seconds of skin on a small screen. Not hundreds of laughing out loud bits, but dozens. Good writing. On a par with Will Smith's "Hitch." Mostly I'm here to trumpet the praises of "Border" which just squeaked into my top 10 movies for the Teens Decade tied for number 10 (Freaks).
Shame is brilliant between the director, acting, editing, etc....profound experience that I care not to repeat again. Everyone should watch it because we all deal with trauma in healthy and unhealthy ways. LOVE your channel, sir! Cheers from Dallas.

I agree that Benedetta is glued together well. Intensely engaging film I saw at our local indie theater, and you could have heard a pin drop. Far better than a film like has the right to be.
Good god in heaven. Never in a million years was I expecting the movie Border to be on this list!!!!! I did really enjoy that movie but wouldn't have put it on THIS list. 😜I am quite relieved to hear you are not a sex addict.
Another great thing about True Lies, is the fact the Jamie Lee Curtis did her own stunt in the "limo bridge" scene, where she was hanging from the helicopter. Awesome scene as well.!.!.!

This is Great movie 🎥 list I especially Like Border I didn't know what I was getting into when I 1st watched that movie 🎥 it was recommended by a friend of mine who knows I like wired stuff and that is definitely one wired movie but I was surprised by how much I really cared about the women in the movie I would also recommend it 🙂👍 and I also really liked Don Jon too
You shouldn’t be surprised when low budget comedies are good. What other genere demands less budget than two people in a room being incredibly witty, or stupid in an amusing way? Just like filming a a standup comic, you could make a low budget comedy without investing a dollar in sets, costumes, effects, etc.
The reason Jennifer didn't get awards for this is that like another film by another actress, she plays a stripper who doesn't have any nudity, much like a doctor who doesn't operate. Jessica Alba plays a similar role in Sin City as a stripper who doesn't strip.
The Escort was surprisingly great, really enjoyed the kitschy low budget vibe. Hustlers was a freakin riot! Darren, I have to ask you a question. Have you ever watched the 1999 Japanese horror film "Audition", directed by Takashi Miike. After watching many of your lists, I wondered if this was one you had seen or recommended. I had the dvd a long time ago but it got lost during one of my moves. I'm in the process of getting another copy from Japan directly, but I just wanted to know if you had seen it or heard about it.
I liked True lies a lot and have always considered Jamie Lee Curtis as an exceptionally hot, funny and good actress. My #1 of all time that’s built around well done sex has to be Body Heat with Kathleen Turner and William Hurt from 1980. Turner was truly hot in this excellent flick. It’s a murder thriller with enough sex to wake up a corpse. The acting and story are top notch and the supporting actors (Richard Crenna, Mickey Rourke, Ted Jansen, J.A Preston) all do really fine jobs. Lawrence Kasden does a superb job directing. This one is fast paced with twists and turns and plenty of suspense. For those who missed it, go back and catch this 5 star drama. You won’t regret it.

The first 2 star actress Jane March, who I feel is one of the most beautiful women on the planet. The third title, which is a thriller, is one of Hugh Grant’s first movies, it was produced by Roman Polanski, and it also stars his wife, Emmanuelle Seigner.
True Lies is an odd pick for this list. Jamie Lee is hot. But its not excactly very "adult". Great film. Just seems out of place. Although 16 year old me, thought it was pretty steamy at the time.

So, I watched The Escort. I really enjoyed the movie. But I must have watched a different version than you watched because there was no graphic sex and very little un graphic sex.
I'm definitely scratching my head with about 1/2 this list. Only a few were true to the 'Erotic' title.... Side note: I will watch anything with Ana De Armas in it. Not only does she get the male blood flowing more than just about any actress, but she is also talented to give you the best of both worlds.

If you read the novelization of True Lies, during the scene when Helen Tasker, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, does the strip scene, you will find out she gets totally naked. By the way, I am still trying to figure out how the bad guys found them in the hotel because it was never explained.

Trues Lies has some great humor, I thought Tom Arnold was really good in his role.
