Thanks! And you should!! I'd never made a lofi track before but this was honestly one of the most fun covers for me to make because I just got to experiment with different sounds.
Oh my God, I would listen to this on a 10 hour loop. I love this game, it's always been a fallback for me when I need comfort, and hearing your mix is so wonderful. You are so talented, thank you.
This is such a lovely arrangement. I love the sound you have here and that gamboy-esque solo at 1:58 put a huge smile on my face. I absolutely adore the little animations you sprinkled throughout. Did you make those? They are so cute!! Great work! Thanks for sharing!
You've made the shift to lo-fi work really naturally, this was a beautiful arrangement! Charming art inserts too, are they your creation? My personal preference in lo-fi is to have leads be just a little bit less direct in the mix (I would have loved to hear more of that guitar line that accompanies the synth, there were some nice fills happening!) but that's a pretty subjective value judgement. One other very tiny nitpicking thing occurs to me in the opening - if you wanted to communicate the flowing waltz-like rhythm even more, I'd suggest making your accent scheme back up the metric accents - making sure the downbeat is clearly accented, more than any other beat. That stuff aside, there's lots of decisions here that I really love. The warping effects function excellently, and your percussion provided gentle propulsion without ever stealing focus. Also, those floaty pads are just totally my jam, and they sit so beautifully in the mix! I'd be curious to hear you do more lo-fi in the future, because you've done wonderful work with it - those filtered guitar ensemble lines are just divine. Thank you for being part of this year's competition! :)
Love the easy feelings.
4 años buscando lofi de este juegazo y vuelvo de nuevo a buscar.. Y si!! Encontré! 💚
this arrangement is so soothing and dreamy, absolutely amazing work. adding this to my study songs immediately and subscribing :)
Minish cap 💚 I love this
The music of this game is very beautiful, it saddens me to know that this video game is not being given the attention it deserves.
Genna, this is simply awesome. Fantastic work!
One of my favorite tracks of this game! Very nicely done! Perfect cover for listening during work ^^
I love this! The visuals are so cute!
I love how everything sits in this arrangement! The soft drum kit pairs so well with the pads and guitar in this, Maybe I’ll try it myself someday!
