    thats the singer from Unleash the Archers fyi :) she is awesome

      @mcharris321  5 лет назад +1

      Correct - Brittney Hayes. Unleash the Archers were a last-minute addition to the festival that year when another band had visa issues at the border but she was took full advantage of the opportunity - performing with Dragonland, promoting her own band, selling merch, etc. Very nice gal.

    Voice of the singer is different from studio version

      Are you talking about the male or female singer? Jonas is the same singer from the album but the original female singer was Elize Ryd (now in Amaranthe). Brittney Hayes is singing in this vid since her band, Unleash the Archers, was also at the festival.

      I meant Jonas...on studio version of the song (and also on whole all their albums, from Holy War to Astronomy) he has a rounder and deeper voice. In title track Astronomy, on chorus he sings with deep voice and I always believed even in a classical training.
      From "Starfall to Banner" musicians dropped harmonies and the voice suites better on live songs

      Ah - it's been years since I listened to the studio albums. I'll need to check them out again.

      on the chorus in Astronomy its Jake E (ex amaranthe and dreamland) thats also singing.

    How does a band butcher their own song live ):

      I’m pretty sure it sounded WAAAAAAAY better in person. Usually when someone records on a phone, it doesn’t sound nearly as good because of how the sound is transferred. This is very common with metal concerts.

      I used to think the same thing about Cradle of Filth’s live videos for years, claiming they were just a studio band, until I finally did see them in concert. Someone even posted video of that same concert and the quality of sound being there live vs watching a recording doesn’t even come close.
