      I see you a lot on pod casts, but just holding the knives up quickly is a tease. So thanks for loaning it out to Jerad so we could get a close look...oh and trusting him to put the proper convex on it without telling you.LOL ...and congrats on the new baby.

      @@NeevesKnives Me too, but where can I get one. I believe. the knife you showed is his 50th year medallion. Last year (2019), he came out with a limited run of his 75th year. So, maybe, Spirited would be willing to give up his 50 year at a good price, since I'm sure he must have gotten the 75 year!
      I hope Bob T lives a long and active life, cuz I might have enough money in 5 years and would put my name on the list now, under the condition that I get to buy it from him in-person, with his autograph on the blade. haha

      @@meangene4038 I was looking on line I found a couple drop versions which look great although They are flat grinds id like to find a hollow, I also found some from MKM which look great for around 250$ so I think id like to go that route even though the ones from drop are 165$ I think the quality and materials with that hollow look better. The MKM versions have really nice micarta and ti theres a bunch of different ones. I wish I could afford it right now while theres some available. I might look around on ebay and see if I can find some used ones or something

    Shirogorov and Terzuola's design straddle the line between art and utility. I think that is what makes their knives so appealing to a broad range of knife folks. I just wish that Bob does a mid-tech ATCF collaboration with a high end production company.

      Well he did the drop knife and the mkm version, but id love to see a ckf, or a reate version my self, the new hinderer Firetac is awesome it kind of reminds me of this knife, also i absolutely love my shiro f3r

    What? No saw teeth and hollow handle on this tactical knife? 🤣 Oh, that would make it a "survival knife," right?
    Hey, love that sharpening bevel that just meets the grind line on this blade. Usually hard to not go over it. Sweet sharpening job (assuming it didn't come this way. Excellent, dude! 👍🔪👍

      @NeevesKnives  3 года назад +2

      No I definitely put the edge on it and thank you! Its very sharp, I showed it whittling hair in the gaw video, and I dont even think thats a survival knife 😆 more like an inconvenience knife lol

    It should be a convex since, Terzuola uses a belt grinder and it was meant to cut and pierce bone.

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  3 года назад +2

      Good point, and this is one nasty sharp convex edge

    Says "sheep's foot blade" & pulls out a wharncliffe... says "karambit" & pulls out a hawk bill! Hehe Sorry, couldn't resist.😁 On a serious note, Terzuola is 1 of my favorite designers/makers & the model that the CRKT BT-70 was modeled after is 1 of my top knives.

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  3 года назад

      Ok kinda i guess only because i normally call that one a wharncliff but technically a wharny spine is one taper to the tip, and the karambit was just a refferance saying that kind of blade shape and that knife was inspired by the karambit bit yes its a hawkbill but i was just saying those kind of blades wont work in those situations as well but i did kind of mess up with the sheepsfoot because a real sheepsfoot kind of can but a wharncliff wouldnt. Sometimes when recording you brain is moving faster than you mouth and doesnt have time to realize what you just said 😆

    Where can you purchase one of these?

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  Год назад

      From Bob Terzuola he's a custom knife maker, possibly on the secondary market, you can get his designs from other companies, but if you want his actual knives you have to go through him, and it's VERY expensive
