It is strongly advised against administering an injection if aspiration yields any amount of blood, regardless of how minimal. In the event that blood is inadvertently drawn into the syringe, it should be withdrawn slightly and another attempt made.
Refrain from administering injections under the following circumstances, as they may result in complications:
