I don't know about flashing firmware to this kind of watch. I've only done it on full Android OS watches. Yes you can add a few more faces The only app I've seen is the Weather app. In the video it shows where you add faces and apps from the phone running the tethering app. Just follow along with that part of the video. I had problems installing any more than two items, so there may be limited memory to add things to the watch.

Tethering between a watch and a phone depends on the app used in the phone. Some watches use Fundo Wear app and it works great. These watches use Watch Helper as an app and it is very bad. It will only notify you of a call, but you can't do anything, even dismiss the call from the watch. The only way you can get the watch to work the way you want is to insert a SIM card and use it as a phone.

I tried it again after the video shoot and discovered you can only add two items. So I added the weather app and one of the watch faces to mine. I guess for a watch that packed with features and full tethering all for about $25 on sale they didn't leave much room for expansion.

Well that's a good question. With the watch off, try connecting the charger and wait a minute or so. Most watches light up and show the battery charge briefly. That watch is out being used so I can't test it for you.

I work in a data destruction company that is relied upon by large companies around the country and I am not allowed any devices in work that have data ports as they have precautions in place to show companies that they can be trusted. I wanted to know if there were any affordable smart watches that don't have any ports on them?
They all have the need to be charged, some through ports and some with charging docks. Some tether to watches and can transfer data, like apps and new watch faces through the Bluetooth connection. The G5 doesn't specify an IP rating for water resistance, so there's a good chance it is not very waterproof. Definitely would not recommend immersing it in water or showering with it. Look for watches with ratings of IP67 or IP68 if you want a waterproof watch (like the BANAUS B2 or Zeblaze Blitz)

On your phone should be a button for Bluetooth connection. Touch it to turn it off and return the call to your phone, or select speaker phone mode on your phone. It is all done in the call app on your phone after you answer the call.
You can play the RUclips video on your phone to see them, but you can't install them on your phone, even if it is an Android phone -- except for cronosurf. You can download that one from the Play Store and run it on your phone or tablet. It works great!
Wow, you're right. That got edited out. Open Fundo wear app, then go My Applications. With your watch and phone linked, select which watch faces you want to add and they will be installed to your watch. On my G5 I could only add two.
No, there's no camera on this watch. You might be able to use remote camera support where you press a button on your watch to take a picture on your phone, but that depends on setting up your phone tethering properly.

Hey my iPhone version of the Fundo App has no applications tab, did not find any solution to uploading apps. Also cannot clear all notifications... BTW excellent reviews keep on..
i just received the watch yesterday. Everything else is okay and well functioning but heartrate is FAKE. My unit only shown randomly between 74-84bps though I was running and should be 140 above bps. Really FAKE!!! p/s look at your video @00:22:00... haha.. you also got 84bps. fake!

Try the Cookoo 2 smart watch. It uses the round battery so there is no port for charging..
