Nisha I tried your recipe today and added one third atta flour as I feel pure maida is unhealthy as it is too refined. Your recipe worked wonderfully. Only the Nan did not stick easily to the pan when it was reversed. However I solved the problem by holding the Nana against the pan with a flat metal spatula till it was cooked (quite quickly actually). Then added the ghee and the Nans were so tempting that I ate them just like that without any curry or side dish and they were soft, but crisp at the same time and absolutely delicious. Thanks for taking the time to share your cooking skills with us. I find the recipe is similar to making Pizza dough. The only difference is that pizza dough uses one third rawa or semolina instead of one third cup curd. Other ingredients are the same with the resulting dough being just as soft and pliable as the Nan dough.

Are you sure this recipe works??? It’s like a hard dough and won’t cooked through inside. I was wondering how you do your naan.
Alexa Your Queen use curd and warm water and make it soft and after greasing the dough let it rest for 2 hours. It will be very soft.
