@@OxxidCZ You can climb El Teide from the north side which is around 50 kilometers long. Pico Veleta is 44 kilometers. From the other sides, El Teide has a length in the range of 40-45 km, but there is a short flat part. So you are right about the accent.
Thx - great also to have stop details !
Great video !!
Well done.. kudos to you 2! fantastic effort and gusto..
Great video!
Love the video and the coffee stops :D
I'm heading over in July, definitely gonna bring arm and leg warmers for the descent
@Arlo Matthias instablaster ;)
Gary : Free motion in Los christianos & Costa Adeje is very nice. And the second is BikePoint in LAs Amirica or El medano
You must have been unlucky with weather. Clean skies and very hot when I did it in February.
What time of year did you ride this
@@neiltaylor5586 February 👍
Would you recommend February if you were to do it again? @@SteveGardnerUK
@ yes! Lovely temperature on the rest of the island. Only cold right et the top of the volcano so pack layers
Longest in km or biggest elevation?
Longest climb in Europe and quite possibly the largest elevation as well but not sure.
@@Tideman11 It's neither of those actually. Granada - Pico De Veleta is longer in km and the eleveation climbed is larger.

@@Tideman11 I only rode El Teide from Los Gigantes ! :-D
Amazing effort! Congrats 🎉
Yep, I'll call it Teedee from now on, why not? :)))
Great video mate 👍🏻 can you recommend a good bike hire in los gigantes.?
Hi Gary, we used Bike Point Tenerife in Las Americas and they were great!
