    Respect to this great Big Chief and his respect of the traditions. Beautiful costume ! Such a shame that some people would try to steal the sacred songs of the Indians , feel so sorry and ashamed about those scrooges english lads.

    They are light-years away from their beginnings. This a 'thing' all of its own; ALL Indians in New Orleans before ONE African showed their face in the 1500's, before ANY Euro came there, THEY ALL WERE IN MISSISSIPPI. The original Indians in New Orleans WERE CHAHTA (choctaw). Period. But there's a lot of misinformation in this video; Glad he's reading-up on things, but it's VERY important to SIFT through what we even research. Much Love.

      @Da Boot because wen u study they were taking us out of the Americas n bringing ancestors to places like Liberia there are tribes there now sueing the British government for their removal from the Canadas Before the invasions we were considered one pple from the arctic to antartic n all islands in between. Out of many one people study to show yourself approved

      we're aboriginal American. This is our land. The slave trade was fabricated. In 1619 only "20 and odd" African slaves came to North America. We've always been home. The slave trade happened in reverse. Some of us were shipped to Africa and Europe.

  • @SILKTEEN46

    504 Stand up!! I have that book and someone stole it. Were taught we were all from Africa. The question is who taught us that?? and the next question is who do you believe?? The pale face or grandmama???? New Orleans keep it real for Mardi Gras and Super Sunday!!!

  • @SmashinAdams
    @SmashinAdams 4 года назад +4

    Not totally true: Some of our Chahta ancestors WERE slavers (of Africans, whites & our own) & already had Chusite-Moundbuilder blood in their veins. And originally, EVERY "mardi gras indian" was from Mississippi. Some moved north of Lake Ponchatrain finding it abandoned & eventually spread out. Also, our queens didn't "get off the street" - They would fight right along with us, even go to war with us.

    • @BlackMaskingEndians
      @BlackMaskingEndians  3 года назад +3

      Yes our Queens fight! This is a Culture that has held on through much as we all know. But one thing is true. This is in there BLOOD and take it serious as death. This is no game or dance routine....I assure you. Shalom 12 tribes here APTTMH

      You way out there.
      Most of these New Orleans Black people have ancestor from Virginia and Maryland and many of their great grandparents migrated to N.O from rural Louisiana, these people are NOT no Chahta. Stop it

    Why are we emulating other people’s culture. This seems disrespectful. Let on those native Indians come out with Afro wigs and see how you feel. They not your brothers. The native Americans also owned black African slaves

    • @BlackMaskingEndians
      @BlackMaskingEndians  3 года назад +3

      We are not emulating anyone. Just because you're never seen it doesn't mean it hasn't been here for hundreds of years. It has been suppressed and re named due to slavery and capitalism. This is our community bringing to light who we are. No we dont want your federal recognition number. Many who mask already have one. I pray you my indigenous brother stop looking through European eyes. Shalom..btw see Yamasee and desoto.

    • @BlackMaskingEndians
      @BlackMaskingEndians  3 года назад +1

      @blindmac I'm not sure what history you are looking at. Try the Recinquista of 722. See the History of desoto who died in Shreveport Louisiana. Also see Proverty point! 1500 years older than the pyramids. And for just good measure see the Marksville trade group of the southwest Indians that traded with the hopewell trade group. Pls chk your facts my brother. We know our blood. It's not Mongolian, scythian, Inuit which is where most of the present day popular federal recognized tribes DNA track them. Now that we have established ancient history now add transatlantic slave trade bringing back the slaves of the Reconquista via Spanish and French 8 to 900 years later which the Maroons(not you) gave refuge to thier ancient cousins! Facts!!! If you respond pls use facts and not opinions or fairytales. Shalom

    • @BlackMaskingEndians
      @BlackMaskingEndians  3 года назад +1

      Hmmm you responded with no facts or any evidence to thwart any of the historical events, cultures or UNESCO sites I presented. I'll let you pontificate on your secret info that can be released in a competitive manner. No, no thank you. We here, love the opportunity to learn and exchange information for ppl interested in truth. If you like to change course and come to a common ground maybe you can teach me and my community something and maybe just maybe you also may learn something new...like the Most Highs Grand Plan has been written we are just trying to put the pieces together. Shalom

    Apparently, macho is in the mind of the man, just like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I say that because in North Carolina where I'm from, a man wearing flowers & feathers would've been perceived as a homosexual.

      You people have misunderstood what I meant. These Indians are not gay. All I'm saying is that in North Carolina, a man wearing flowers would be frowned upon.
