I wonder if this song is also about the band approaching an end? Similar to This Time on Machina....this was written in the Adore era and there were probably signs already by then the band was breaking apart with Jimmy out due to his overdose on the MCIS tour, and D'arcy and James pretty much sitting themselves out of the music making process. Then a year later D'arcy quits and the rest is history.
