Almost all my skincare is K-beauty. I love Cosrx, Beauty of Joseon, Missha, HaruHaru. What really got me started was really in my teens. My mothers best friend was from Japan & her daughter was my age and we are still friends today. So long ago we started on tricycles. When her mother would visit family in Japan, she would bring us Japanese skincare & the rest is history.
There are several Japanese skincare brands that I enjoy too. It is amazing how friends and family can impact the makeup and skincare that we decide to try. Thank you for sharing your experience. xoxo

I just discovered Dr. Curable Vegan Kombucha Tea gel and Essence. I've struggling to find something strong enough to moisturize my skin at the same time, not pill up under sunscreen and foundation. These 2 are it! I'm going to try some of their other products next!

@ I assume it was on for a few hrs . I woke up about 3:30 am and patted it down. In the am it was off my face . Think after 3:30 I was restless and flipped to my stomach . Skin looked great in the am. One week I am going to try a face mask every day
I have found that it is not the actually always good products, but the order of the toner, essence and serum that has the greatest effect, at least if we use them step by step, as the products in Korea are designed to work together.
I use Secret Key starting essence. It’s Korean, a dupe for a more expensive brand, recommended by MrsMelissaM. I am my 3rd bottle. I only use essences and/or toners for my morning routine. I got your Numbuzin 3 glowing toner. I’m liking that. I am using up some snail mucin. Then I am going to start a Benton product, snail bee, high content skin toner. Which is Korean also recommended by MrsMelissaM. You two are my favorites, you both are cater to us over 50 gals. I appreciate that. Not everyone is 20 or 30 anymore..😊🤗 I also use a gua sha tool recommended by you some time back. Thank you.

Occasionally, with an essence, I will put essence on that first spray my face with water let that dry and repeat water/essence at least two but sometimes three times, especially in the summer when it’s air conditioning everywhere.
I have been using K-Beauty for a couple of years now and I just love them. My favorite products are AMPLE: N - Ceramide Shot Ampoule and AMPLE: N - Peptide Shot Ampoule. I use them both every night and have seen great improvement in my skin.😊
This was awessome! I love K-Beauty and use it pretty exclusively. I didn't know Numbuzin had a sheet mask and I definitely will try that. I always stayed away from sheet masks because Dr. Dray said they were too occlusive for sensitive/rosacea prone skin. Since you have Rosacea and don't have issues, it's worth a try. Laura, you got that part about rice right! Rice is good not only for the skin (my friend asked what I was using on my face when I used to pat rice water on my face; I stopped because it was too drying) but also for the hair. I've bought serums but really, nothing beats rice water. As a rice eater, I store the water used to wash rice before cooking and soak my hair in that during a shower when I increasing notice hair fall. The results are noticeable -- great reduction in hair fall for the next 5-10 days. This needs to be repeated on a weekly basis actually but I'm too lazy.
No, I've never worn a mask to bed, I toss and turn to much to I think it would be a waste. I thought it was a great idea using gua sha right after a juice mask., Plus it cuts out a step in the routine. I don't have to select the right oil , which I have no confidence in, put it on then put it up. I also like the idea of the gua sha gently helping massage the extra liquid from the mask into my skin. Wonderful and informative video 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. I have used the Biosance sheet mask and slept with it on. It works and my skin was super smooth, hydrated, plump, radiant and soft. I did my best to sleep on your back. The second time I tried the sheet mask, I left it on for 4 hours. If you do not move when you sleep and you sleep on your back, then I recommend it. Otherwise, I recommend leaving it on 3-5 hours . I have a lip routine (exfoliate lips, warm washcloth compress, apply Blistex ointment, Medicated Blistex and Summer Fridays lip butter. You can tell if there is skin by the color. The product is white. When I have a build up the product that falls off looks more tan. I was going to an esthetician several years ago on a regular basis and she used gommage on me and explained how it works. When I saw the results I was thrilled. I have been using one since.❤️

I'm a little confused. I just watched your video from 1/6/2024, where you show what your Am and Pm cleansing routines looks like. But I also have watched some of your videos where you talk about Korean skincare. Do you do both or what? I have been really interested in the Korean skincare and am trying to decide on what products to buy.
On my channel I review products so some products I keep in my rotation while others I will take out to test out new products. I have tried several different essences and moisturizers since last January. Most of the year I have been using Numbuzin products. My favorite is their No. 3 Super Glowing Essence Toner and their No. 3 Softening Serum. I also like the Numbuzin 5+ Vitamin Concentrated Serum. After I put these on in the morning I use sunscreen. At night, I mostly use Naturium Retinaldehyde0.10% and moisturizer. I will be doing an updated routine soon. Hope this is helpful. xoxo

I disagree with you about the exfoliating. This is the number one reason men often have better skin than women! They shave every day and exfoliate. They also go for hours at a time with zero skin products, letting the skin breathe. Women have am and pm routines and never leave our skin alone. I exfoliate daily and don't use anything at night besides an eye serum. My skin is definitely improving.
I am so glad you have found a routine that works for you and that you are happy with. My skin is probably not as strong as yours. If I exfoliated every day my skin would be very red and inflamed. You are fortunate to have such great skin! xoxo
