I never felt so tired in my life like I do after a spin class. I run a 5k in around 20 min 2-3 times a week, and finish that off with running uphill as fast as I can in intervals until failure. I do strength training. HIIT cardio, and I mean HIIT, like my pulse is so high I can't talk. I do rucking with a 30kg backpack for like 6-7 miles after some form of intense cardio ( usually later that day so I can rest up ). But spinning.....I don't know what it is, feel so burned out from it, in a nice way! Don't get me wrong, but guess it depends on how hard you push yourself. But yea guys, try it out, really go in there and push yourself for 1 hour as hard as you can, trust me.... you're gonna feel it the next day.
I just purchased my spin cycle for my home. My wife and I are LOVE to workout together. We love your spin and informative videos. Keep up the great work!
That's awesome!! Glad that our videos help! Have you checked out our website yet? We have over 600 classes like this in our library, and we add new classes every week! Start with a free trial! www.studiosweatondemand.com
I spin 40 min hi intensity. I do leg lifts and ham curls alternating every other day with push-ups,curls and leg lifts. 45 and I look fucking Amazing let me tell you!
What type of spin exercises and intensities help the most to increase your heart size and bloodflow? Are there ways to use your arms more to make it full body exercise?
I didn't know it was a feminine work out, I only see middle aged men on the spin bike in my gym (I guess that's not a spin class, just in the gym)... They do sweat profusely, leaving big pools of sweat on the ground hahah but they do clean it up real good ahha I prefer bikes over treadmill because you can get a great work out but I feel a bit more secure, and unlikely to fall off the bike while looking at my phone vs if I was looking at my phone on a treadmill. Also when I was really heavy post baby, it was easier on my knees. lol

I just went to watch this (always my biggest mistake - ha) and saw this. This is Cat btw. :) Incredibly witty Dave, and I love good wit! And well done on the lb drop! Keep it up buttercup.
You can definitely get stronger and build lean body mass in the legs and glutes with Spinning! Make sure you go to www.studiosweatondemand.com/freetrial and try the classes there. We have new releases there every couple of days. Thanks!
The number of days that you should Spin® really depends on how many days you are working out per week. Since you are doing it already twice per week, I would add a 3rd and see how that feels. However, I would make only one of those days just Spin® (cardio). On the other two days, combine Spinning® with some strength training to get that full body workout!
Spinning is just a fad, its a social club for people who want to appear fit or feel like they've actually improved their fitness. Unfortunately many people treat it as their main excersie for fitness and endurance, but take them outside and ask them to run and they would fail miserably. People settle for comfortable exercises instead of doing the real deal...running! sprints, slow running, threshold running, mid and long distances with a view to achieve 5k in under 20 minutes and 10k at or under 40mins...people actually get in their car and drive to a gym to sit on a fake bike for an hour...lol
Ya think? Not me. I would say it's actually a trend by the true definition, not a fad. A fad comes and goes over a year or 2. A trend stands the test of time, and Spinning has been around and just growing in popularity since the early 80s. So... yeah. Pretty sure it's not going anywhere because it's about the best low-impact cardio, calorie crusher there is. That's just imho.

@@StudioSWEATonDemand That's fair enough
You are an idiot
Running is a great calorie burner, but it’s horrible on your joints.
