I think Jesus looking like he is back in physical shape is making everyone confused. Jesus should be a left 8 or a backup winger, he is very active and tracks back, is good in buildup but he is not a striker or at least not a starting striker on a team that has a good one
I think folks are letting Timber off the hook. On the goal, Heaven had to come across from his LCB position because Timber was caught up on halfway line. Is that where the RCB should have been?
The ball got lost in the midfield and we were being countered at that moment. Timber was in the wrong spot for sure but Heaven was still infront of Hojlund when the ball came over the top. He just got bodied by a bigger and faster player and that happens sometimes.
Calafiori created most chancon pitch in Croatia game i think. He os an attacking player playing at the back 😂. Watch it go. Just his body holding up damping my excitement.
Zinchenko was not that bad. He was okay. The narrative is making you shift your opinions. Rewatched the game. Zinny didn't look like the dope Two times he missed passes and that coloured his whole performance for him. Pre season game with heavy legs you are indexing them too much.
Why do they talk about Zinchenko? Whatever his faults he clearly has been of some use at times, however Fabio who cost the same has been an utterly pointless signing.
