  • We had a blast at the ROAR 1:8 Off-Road Electric Nationals over the weekend! Garland put on an awesome race with a great atmosphere! We set up our pits behind the dirt track on the turf area. We had a few tents and tables for the JC/AE guys, while other drivers pitted inside the building next to the track or in their own trailers. The weather was a tad hot but there was a nice breeze and a gorgeous view of the mountains all weekend long!
    The competition was stiff with drivers like Dakotah Phend, Ryan Cavalieri, Joe Bornhorst, Tyler Jones, Cole Tollard, Lee Setser, and so on. If you check out the results you’ll see how many fast guys there were! Despite all of the competition, there was still a chill, fun vibe among all of the drivers in the pit area. A nice commodity as well was that Chambersburg was a super short drive away and had all the hotels/food you could want!

    it bugs the shit out of me that they don't have a leader board with who each driver is driving for TLR. TA, Mugen, Tekno etc. every competitive motorsport does this but RC c'mon guys bring back the competition let the manufactures battle it out just like their drivers

      I’m pretty sure they are going around 35 mph. It looks a lot faster because of the tight course and jumps. I’m not sure though. I’ve never raced

    So much more fun to watch than nitro. I hate the noise and the stink. When they finish racing indoors theres a cloud of exhaust hanging around. E Buggy is where its at!!

      They depend on driver. I recommend spectrum motors and escs. As they rule in my humble opinion

    What cars are those, like what are they called

    • @bharris0128
      @bharris0128 Год назад

      1/8th scale electric buggy. 1/8th scale nitro buggy is a little more popular - same cars with a .21 nitro engine.

      @@bharris0128you are so wrong this here is 10th scale electric four-wheel, and 10 scale is more popular than 8th scale this race right here is 10th scale electric buggy

    • @chrislingelbach83
      @chrislingelbach83 Год назад +1

      This is 1/10 scale it's the most popular electric

    • @bharris0128
      @bharris0128 Год назад +2

      @@chrislingelbach83 - this is not 1/10 scale. This is the 1:8 scale Off-road Electric Nationals. And if that’s not visually obvious, just look at the the first line in the description of the video.

    • @bharris0128
      @bharris0128 Год назад

      You have no idea what you're talking about. 1/10 is more popular, but the video is the ROAR 1/8 scale race. Just read the video description. I race both.

    Aren’t there leagues where it’s like drivers who aren’t sponsored by any company and drivers who are? I think that should exist tbh I could care less about the manufacturers arguments and the free parts the drivers get they’re all phenomenal drivers but they talk positive about a company that gives them free parts and free stuff, I mean really they all phenomena drivers but I take every sponsored drivers opinion about a certain chassis or rc car with a grain of salt for those reasons

    There are cheats to rc racing. I bet if you could drive these pro drivers cars you would realize you're been lied too. Do you think any of these cars a factory setting or parts? It's the tiny things you would never think of to give them the edge.
