Not really. I change it every 4 hours or so, depending on the flow. To change a pad without it being used to at least 60% of capacity is wasting in my opinion. I dont let it overflow either😖, but I dont like to throw it almost unused.

I used to get 7 day periods that were so heavy I'd leak after a couple hours. I also had such bad pain that I'd throw up and be on the verge of fainting. I was missing school and work because of the agony so I went on the pill - best thing I've ever done. It's literally changed my life. My periods still last about 5 days to a week but it's medium to light now. I also get very mild cramp and some months no pain at all! My periods used to end up controlling my life but not anymore :)
