We need a part 2 with rappers like Rakim, LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Big Daddy Kane, Big L, Big Pun, The Game, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Nelly, Slick Rick, DMX, Method Man and many more
In my head I originally didn’t think he was gonna include anybody like this for this list but then Black Thought and 3k and Lauryn Hill came up and now I’m hoping for a part 2 as well
the positivity and respect even with the artists you guys dont like is amazing to see. Not tearing anyone down for views and keeping it real. Keep it going fr
It is not a hard thing to do even if someone's music just turns you off. It is important to remember that you don't like the music not the human being.
These guys are true hip hop fans, if this list is made for people like fantano perfect will be only New rappers or Hip hop universe only old school rappers. Just enjoy the Goats of every generation; Rakim, Nas, Lupe, Eminem, Jay Z, Kendrick, Blackthought, A3K, Doom, BDK, 2Pac, Biggie...
Except the females. Honestly im glad they added females but sound annoyed everytime they come up and discredit the work. Every other artist they are naming projects and songs and you can see how Unknowledgeable about rap made by females they really are. Listening to pink friday and giving her props isnt a gay thing
IMO kanye is a perfect rapper not because he’s good at (even tho I think he’s a great rapper) but because he’s innovative, different, and changes his sound so much that you never get board of him, he’s relatable too
Eminem slander is just pure hate, glad you guys shed some light. A lot of artist are inspired by him and he does have an influence in the rap game and is one of the guys who built this industry up to what it is today he proved Rap could win Grammy's he proved Rap can be mainstream he proved even as a white rapper that he is one that you don't want to mess with.
Ppl hate Em just because is Successful, I mean what do you expect? A weak record of Em are the biggest peak of many new rappers, obviously this don’t like many new heads. Man, and the new trending; “f*** white people” is fuel for the haters. Anyway, Legends like Rakim, Nas, Jay Z, Dre, 50, Blackthougt and New talent like Logic, Kendrick, Danny Brown give respect to Em, the disrespect como from wannabe g’s that living with money from the state.
I'm big fan of Lil Uzi Vert and Juice WRLD so personally they deserve more than just good. But I wanna say that it was a pretty good tier list and I'm agree with you the most of the time.
its just because they are doing it as a best rappers of ALL time. In their generation they're among the best / most influential, but Uzi for example doesn't measure up to the absolute greats like Pac or Eminem. Juice world i do agree should probably be on Great though
I would put tyler in Amazing. His recent three album run with Fower Boy, Igor, and CMIYGL. His first three studio albums aren't on the same tier as those three, but had a hand full of great songs. For example: Goblin: Yonkers and She Wolf: IFHY, Tamale, colossus, Treehome95, and Rusty Cherry Bomb: SMUCKERS, FUCKING YOUNG/ PERFECT, 2 SEATER, and FIND YOUR WINGS
@@gmailazerty he really doesn't, he has quite a few amazing albums, ep's, and songs but his whole discography all added up does not make him above great, maybe since hes dropped some more hits recently he could maybe be in amazing but i doubt it
I put juice way higher. In my opinion music is meant to make you feel some shit. And his art makes me feel. From personal struggles, his music really helped me fix my structure to life.
I think Tyler, Cole, and Mac will have the capability to go into the Perfect category after some time passes. And Andre 3k and Lauryn Hill in the perfect rating without much music put out from those two was spot on🔥🔥
I personally think that while Mac's discography is amazing I wouldn't put him up there with the GOATS. IMO as a Cole stan I also just can't justify putting him up in the perfect category although this can change if his last album just ends up being a fucking banger. Tyler will likely slot into Perfect when it's all said and done because of his impact on the genre and how it's opened up to so many new people + I think Igor is a fantastic album and with time could be a classic (not on the level of Nas or Jay-z's best work but a classic in the sense of a Get rich or die trying or 2014 FHD.)
Nicki was literally THE female rapper for ~ a decade, raps in an amazing caliber easily, washed goats coming out the gate, the influence and longevity W/O a classic still. The same things you said bout snoop apply to Nicki.
@@TheEdwardAlchemist 100 % been on top for a decade and got one of the hardest verses of all time on Monster. Should get a spot on the Amazin tier easy !
@@dirtydanthereal11 I have heard his freestyles…enough of them. In comparison to other rappers is it nearly laughable to call him one of the greats of all time. Off very known rappers he might be in top 30 and of all rapppers in the world then he be way way down. Imagine the underground rappers who keep themselves to the lyrical aspect of rap and not singing. Since Juice WRLD rap 50% and sings 50%
i would be putting tyler in amazing, his latest 3 albums starting from Flower Boy to CMIYGL has been some outstanding production from T, I do want to say that his evolution from a rapper rapping about random shit to a love bird with a heart is indeed unique. Starting from Bastard to Cherry Bomb, you do get a few songs that hit different unlike the rest such as YONKERS, SMUCKERS, RUSTY, She and IFHY. Anyway the tier list was was just a few flaws away from perfect, really enjoyed it.
imo Juice should def be in great just because of his freestyles and the fact he still has over 3000 unreleased songs. Many people say he's just another emo rapper, but that just means you haven't listened to him enough. His influence and versatility were some of the best of this generation for sure. His discography goes from chill almost lofi kinda vibe all the way to pop rock
gotta do a part 2 with Denzel curry, joey badass, cordae, trippie redd, jpegmafia, yeat, lil tecca, the game, dr dre, anderson .paak, ybn nahmir, and plenty of others u could include
same with most other older rappers, his newer albums are still good enough to gain attention which is pretty impressive considering his age@@anotherxd5384
But the fact that he's had multiple terrible albums is also a great reason not to have him perfect, amazing would've been the right fit, but you can't be perfect if you have that much terrible music out there.
completely disagree with chief keef and carti, chief keef has been around for a decade and has influenced a bunch of people and i have listened to at least 10 chief keef projects and they all have been pretty good and enjoyable, carti on the other hand, for being around for 5 years , he somehow has influenced some people and people tried to mimic his sound and he’ll soon be as influential as chief keef , future and lil wayne

It feels wierd to say there are parts of Travis that is slept on. Yes he has revolutionized this new generation of trap, but he is multi sided to with older discography with slept on tracks and is pushing the boundaries and yes may not be the most poetic lyrically but there are so many tracks things of of rodeo and even on Astro world tracks like rip screw houstanfornication coffee bean are pure art
Travis >>> Drake Just because drake it's more og doesn't mean he is better, actually, travis discography is too much better and solid Rodeo 10/10 BITTSBM 8.3/10 Astroworld 9.6/10 Utopia 9.6/10
More thal half of his discography is slept on, it shows how great he is with creating so many hits and so many good songs which don't trend. Highly underrated despite being one of the best.
It’s actually crazy. I went back this year and fully listened to all of Rodeo and Birds in the Trap and could not believe how many bangers are on those albums I never heard.
I would agree with mostly everything y’all said but I have to disagree on kodak and j cole and juice wrld. I think both of them should be up a level. Kodak just popped off with super gremlin and his back for everything album. But definitely do a part 2
love the video! i will say i feel like some of these guys who are in good or great could have a case for amazing. juice was a massive influence on that melodic emo style of rap and x had an insane influence on both music and production. the distorted 808 aggressive sound was essentially made popular due to him. not saying this because they passed, but because they are seriously influential artists of this generation. tyler also could have a case for amazing as his music is unlike anything we have ever seen in music as a whole.
juice wrld was wired so differently, I remember watching his 1 hour freestyle wondering why tf he doesn''t use that style in his albums. Dude was abit of a prodigy imo.
@@lunacy50 those freestyles were something else bro. His ability to just spit off the dome like that was unreal. Probably the best freestyle rapper I’ve heard out of the mainstream scene.
@@lunacy50He made tons of music like that lol. But his label regulated his released songs to be melodic/sad songs. They wanted him to be sort of a pop star. His best songs are his hype songs imo, he has a lot of unreleased hype songs and if you want some just let me know.
I genuinely think rocky deserves to be in amazing because he literally is everything you said Travis isn’t. Travis doesn’t really go deep into his lyrics which is still fine because every he’s an incredible artist, but rocky is one of those artists who has songs with great substance for example songs like Holy Ghost where he’s questioning the structure of religion and why he doesn’t go to church or give donations, he has one of the best albums of the 2010s decade and his influence is unreal, on top of that he has songs for almost every mood and his production is miles ahead of every artist in the amazing category. Rocky deserves to be in amazing imo.
The thing is the competition The list has too many legends on Amazing and Perfect Rocky still doesnt have this impact and "weight" as an artist, but he is great af tho
Great video , but Tyler Gotta Be Amazing 😭. His Artistic Revolution In the 2010’s was incredible 🤘🏾. I’m surprised y’all didn’t do Westside Gunn, Earl Sweatshirt, Conway or Benny😭 but nonetheless great video !
If people consider Kendrick the goat in modern times, you gotta put Tyler, the Creator up there. He writes his own music, makes his beats, directs his videos, designs clothes, has had a massive influence on underground & mainstream music & has so much diversity in his discography. His not the most lyrical rapper but as an overall artist he is definitely top tier!
I feel like pop smoke, just because of his influence on drill scene since he began his career is undeniable. We can all here a bit of pop smoke in american drill(esp ny) even till this day after he died. I feel like a couple of the rappers in great could POSSIBLY be amazing, but I have to say nicki deserves to be there. What she’s put out just speaks for itself, her influence and relevance in ny rap scense, female rap scene and the 2010’s rap scene is just incredible and she’s a great rapper too. Much better than everyone in her category. It can be argued that people like future, tyler, rocky, travis and thug should be in amazing imo, but from all of them in there nicki deserves to be in amazing for sure
I don't know why people don't like Em's more recent albums. Em spazzes on tracks like You Go'n Learn, Will, and so much more bro. Em has some of the greatest bars, wordplay, flows, and cadences on some of these albums man.
I think the criticisms are more based on his lack of really having things to say. Songs now dont have the same focused message as something like stan or mockingbird. Still decent music now tho.
Hes coming out butthurt in his songs because people dont fuck with him anymore. He put out the worst album of all time (revival). He aint even mid anymore just trash
Youre absolutly right especially with travis i think if his next two albums are good hes goin to be one of the greatest of all time... like the next kanye
@@Laflamyy He has couple party hits but most of the songs are dull and his music doesn't have substance. Lyrics I think we can agree are not good. He is indeed very popular so I would rather put him next to Drake than Kanye. Cuz he is just milking cash by making songs for casual listeners. Pretty sure his target audience is 12. And Kanye is good in most aspects like he is an amazing producer, he is a good writer wtc. Travis doesnt seem like he would be next to one of the greats... at least for now
Tylers definitely amazing, his last 3 albums have all been incredible, his evolution is amazing and his influence in terms of creating Odd Future and everything they've done has to place him up there
I think it would be cool if maybe you posted an album reaction from your patreon to maybe show people what they’re missing out on and more people could subscribe to it. Just an idea.
I think MTMB for Eminem was a really good album, he got to work with some of his older crew but showing that he is embracing the newer generation (Juice WRLD, Don Toliver, Young MA) and he raps about some deep things, I think that his one of his better works. If we were gonna talk weak albums Encore and Revival should be mentioned. But other than that he has never given a bad feature and he has influenced many rappers I think he was perfectly slotted
Totally agree. Idk y ppl r extra critical of him. Notice how they didn't saying about kanye, Wayne or Jay z. Not saying their bad but they didn't name drop any bad albums
@@ultraashy I’m a huge Kanye fan but JIK and Donda 2 were really up to his standards. And it’s tough to rank Eminem’s or Kanye’s Discography. But i would probably put Revival Infinite and Encore on the lower ends TBH, I think MTMB is way too over hated
First of all, Cole is a perfect rapper. His storytelling and views about life and everything is lit the best. Also bro listen I feel Rocky and Tyler are just Amazing rappers and man Kid Cudi, you gotta put him in perfect tier man, he deserves it, not a great fan of him but know the value of his music. Yeah also 21 is a great rapper bro.
How is JuiceWRLD not in Amazing/Great? He has done so much for the rap game, helped a lot of artists come out of the underground, and done much more than many other rappers for our community. That is my personal take, but I still think you should revise his placement on the tier list.

Love the video guys, agreed with most of it but gotta say I’d put juice wrld in great, good seems a bit too low considering his unreal freestyling and all the accolades of GB&GR
If they wanted to talk about influence and stuff they should have had a goat/influence category for the ones who influenced or changed the scene the most. I mean Kanye and Eminem have some great albums but also duds and to me duds means they aren't perfect.
I’m so glad that y’all put 2pac in the perfect category💯💯I get disgusted when ppl say that he was a mediocre lyricist🤢respect to y’all for giving him his props💯💯💯keep grinding💪🙏

You could do an underground one with like jpeg, Freddie gibbs, earl, Denzel, west side Gunn, Saba, Danny brown, pusha, boldly James, etc. though I think all those are at least great 😂 For this list, Tyler gotta go up one or 2 tiers. Besides that pretty solid
Juice Wrld definitely goes in Great imo (if it was only me he would go into Amazing but let's be honest). I mean his first album GBGR is a no skip, every songs in here became classics of the new generation, his second album has some miss but also some classics of this generation (Robbery, Bandit, Hear Me Calling...), and his third album also has huge hits (Come and Go, Wishing Well, Righteous...). He will definitely be listened for the next 10 years, since he still has lots of songs unreleased
If Kendrick’s new album is perfect and or amazing, he’s going to be considered the goat of hip hop and not just goat of his generation. If this new album is bad, or not well received that may be a deciding factor into whether he transcends his already potential goat status
Even if his new album is a 10, Kanye still has a much bigger and better discography so it’ll take a while for Kendrick to pass him imo even if the album is perfect.
Unpopular opinion: I think Biggie and Pac are only considered goats because they died. Not saying they’re not perfect or don’t deserve to be mentioned among the greats, but I do think they are overrated to an extent because they are seen as martyrs.
Talking about the Amazing tier, rip Mac miller and all the other greats in this list. What I like about the Amazing tier is that Cole and Drake are the only ones who still have potential to be placed at the perfect tier at the end of their careers. You know, 50, Snoop, and Cudi are way past their prime. Don't get me wrong, they are still valid to this day but they are already looked at as OGs. Cole and Drake, on the other hand, are still at the peak of their careers currently, and all they have to do in my opinion to be considered perfect, is for each to put out an album that can be considered as one of the best albums in hip hop history. I know for a fact Cole can just do that with The Fall Off.
Definitely need a part 2/ and even 3... We need all the other members of TDE, all members of Slaughterhouse, Joyner Lucas, Meek Mill, Big Sean, Pusha T, Lupe Fiasco, The Game, more old heads like Busta Rhymes, Big L, Mos Def, Common, All members of the LOX, DMX, WuTang Members, Griselda especially, Vince Staples, Vic Mensa, Freddie Gibbs, Gucci Mane, Nipsey Hussle, Joey Badass.. list goes on lol. You would probably have to cut it off at some point but you could literally do an entire video on just the 90s if you think about how much competition there was. Even groups like De La Soul, A Tribe Called quest, Mobb Deep, etc. Love the video. Tyler the Creator is definitely Amazing amazing and I think all of the perfect selections were spot on. Also Cardi B is a BAD artist (I can respect why you said mid tho) and the fact that in 2018 she won a Grammy award to beat all the other classic albums that came out that year... 😬😬🤐🤐
Travis should be on the amazing tier . See he got rodeo which also happens to be the ' The best Trap Album '. Then he got owls. His most slept on album. Can't ignore songs like way back, wonderful, through the late night, the ends and many more Then we got Astroworld. Man what do i even have to say for this. everyone in 2018 was rocking this album. One of the if not the best selling rap albums of 2010's. Then uthopia is what solidifies Travis's place in the amazing tier. Great flows and top notch production. Like i would crown Uthopia as the rap album of 2023. He is also a brand icon in this generation . Also he is not new to the hip-hop game. He's been at it for years and smashing hits after hits.
He really didn't y'all give him way too much credit Lil baby has done more in these last 2 years than juice wrld did poping up all over on sum of the biggest moments from donda to clb
I love the video. I agreed with almost all the critics. But y'all skipped the fact that Tyler The Creator litterly produces all his own beats. All those crazy beats you hear on Flowerboy and IGOR, where created and orgistrated by himself only. He has no label, fully independant artist. He definitely deserves AMAZING I feel. For me personally, he's above Mac Miller, 50 Cent, def Travis, Nicki, Thugga or even J Cole, etc. Juice WRLD was the greatest freestyler ever, GREAT was deserved atleast. Don't forget how young he was... Imagine he didn't die yet... Love
I love andre 3000 as much as the next person, but all that respect gotta go to big boi too man, he always gets completely ignored and it's honestly fucked up
6:20 Imma have to respectfully disagree here, I mean if you listen to Pray 4 love or 90210 or piss on your grave he talks about racism, slavery, making it as a rapper etc. He talk about deep topics as much as others sure, but it's in his discography.
Tyler is in the goat status for me personally. He changed SO much and I was even a fan of Goblin back in the day (minus the rape lyrics but I don't take them seriously)
I would go great for Mac. I think his early records were mid and his later ones were borderline amazing, so good plus the legendary death boosts him to great.
Would love to see where Anderson .Paak fits on this list, obviously not entirely rap but I think that would make a fun debate on its own. Or even Nate Dogg for how iconic his features were. E-40 for what he did for the Bay area and the hyphy sound. I know you can only do so many but those would have been interesting to see fit into this list!
Some of the ones I disagreed with were Drake, Nicki Minaj, and 50 cent. Drake I think was a hard decision. Personally, I really feel like he straddles the amazing, perfect line. Like to look at the other rappers in the category with him seemed u fair considering the unstoppable run he’s had. I wouldve numbed 50 down one tier for a similar reason: I feel like he was a bit out of his league-comparing him to J Cole etc. I don’t think y’all were being fair to Nicki; she has the impact, she has the lyrical ability, she has the Pinkprint. She’s not really missing much and I would’ve put her in amazing.
You guys said where would we put juice me personally I would put him in amazing above x and future and Travis due to his freestyles his coherent meaningful lyrics that left passion in the souls of many and also nobody can deny the sheer greatness of the tracks on death race for love truly amazing
Kendrick is the GOAT already imo. Biggie and Pac are great but 90s nostalgia sways people too much and most importantly: INFLUENCE DOESNT MATTER (that much) artists should be defined by their own work, not who they inspired
The debate for most of the rappers in perfect/GOAT tier is “influence”. Influence definitely matters, especially for the future generation. Kendrick definitely has a discussion for GOAT though.
Drake definitely deserves the Perfect spot he literally has been one of the leaders of the rap game for 11 years. Bruh still pullin numbers and his influence on music today is just as great if not greater than the other artists in the Perfect category.

X was put in great because of being the most versatile rapper in his generation but not only that he is 1. the most streamed soundcloud rapper ever, 2. continuing to florish with kanye west features on donda and 3. his impact was one of the biggest impacts of the generation maybe even the biggest.

Then we got Astroworld.

Tyler is in the goat status for me personally. He changed SO much and I was even a fan of Goblin back in the day (minus the rape lyrics but I don't take them seriously)
Probably on the level of mac for me so amazing
Eminem music to Murder by is fucking great album
I would go great for Mac. I think his early records were mid and his later ones were borderline amazing, so good plus the legendary death boosts him to great.
After watching this it became VERY obvious that they haven’t heard most albums by majority of the artists on this list
Tyler and future should’ve been in the amazing, and I wonder how you guys would rate Earl Sweatshirt
Future definetely should be in the amazing. idk about Tyler tho
Naw 50 was good
50 was literally the hottest rapper in the early 2000s
nicki minaj is mid
Drake and cole are perfect
🧢
Cole maybe Drake HELL NAH
Edit- Actually J Cole is 25% Drake is 20% my bad
You guys said where would we put juice me personally I would put him in amazing above x and future and Travis due to his freestyles his coherent meaningful lyrics that left passion in the souls of many and also nobody can deny the sheer greatness of the tracks on death race for love truly amazing
Kanye is my favorite ARTIST ever but NaS & MF DOOM two of the GREATEST lyricist OAT
Idk man. Jcole is pretty solid too same with Andre 3stacks
Nas is the GOAT
ye?
Drake definitely deserves the Perfect spot he literally has been one of the leaders of the rap game for 11 years. Bruh still pullin numbers and his influence on music today is just as great if not greater than the other artists in the Perfect category.
He has too many bad albums to be perfect and he has so many cringe lyrics that just sound dumb
@@amarjotsingh8455 what bad albums? ppl get caught up in his radio shit and dont listen to his actual genius in his songs cuz they like to join the trend on hatin
@@gab3466 here comes the drake dick rider 😂 his albums are long and boring now. He just has a few radio songs now to stay relevant. A lot of his beats now sound like some garage band/SoundCloud shit, not an actual production like Kendrick, jay-z etc
@@gab3466 bro…Drake has multiple bad albums, no where near a perfect rapper
who likes music Drake doesn't care about the lyrics of the songs. Ain't nothing but a fucking commercial rapper dropping pop music
I don’t think Eminem MTBMB is as bad as u think, u should definitely revisit. I love that project.
MTBMB is a great project. I'ts not a classic fs. but still great
I am confused about how you guys ranked mac in amazing for evolution but not Tyler, the creator
Perfect List 🔥🔥🐐🐐
I thought Lu said, “another classic rapper going into that perfect/classic category is NAV”. I almost jumped out my seat till I saw the picture 😂
nah you tripping nav def up there
@@yunuskhan8089 you have a point lmao
@@yunuskhan8089 you’re drunk
Drake is pretty easily one of the best ever, he should be in perfect tier ez
Sales wise yes, otherwise no
@@BoomerangatangUbik I respect your opinion but realistically Drake is very versatile, elite at pure rapping when he wants to, has clearly been influential, has multiple great albums and has been dominant for more than a decade
@@itsdevz9966 he may be versatile and elite at rapping, but we wont be seeing any of that soon
@@itsdevz9966 Drake won the popularity contest, not the talent show
I agree, I think people take Drake's music for granted. Won't be another Drake.
I personally think Cole should be on perfect purely based on his insane lyricism and his crazy discography. He's criminally underrated and is at least top 15 of all time
Travis and Tyler should definitely be in amazing i think they are above the other people in the great tier they both have perfect discographys and their influence has been huge
Tyler’s career is way more impressive than Travis they definitely don’t belong in the same category
@@Brandon-jg6ov Rodeo and astroworld are both literially in the debates for best trap albums of all time, Birds is great too i’m a big tyler fan also and i believe they’re on the same tier
@@ReboundzGaming took the words right out of my mouth
@@Brandon-jg6ov I prefer Tyler but he hasn't sold 500k first week yet
@@ReboundzGaming sure rodeos the best trap album that doesn’t make it anywhere close to the best hip hop album besides that Astroworld was decent, birds was awful and rn everything else has either been bad or mid
Juice and X gotta be on the same category man. juice in good is straight miss, his impact in such a short time along with his crazy freestyling skills, he deserves the great spot for sure.
Fr if not amazing, and if he was able to stay alive he would be in his way to perfect in some years
X is better
X was put in great because of being the most versatile rapper in his generation but not only that he is 1. the most streamed soundcloud rapper ever, 2. continuing to florish with kanye west features on donda and 3. his impact was one of the biggest impacts of the generation maybe even the biggest.
@@furynvm 💀💀💀 ya he’s versatile but that doesn’t mean he was good at being versatile he tried so many different genres and was trash at most of them. Juice was actually good at being versatile and everything he tried it turned out being good. Not to mention his godly off the dome free-styling. Imagine free-styling a 9x platinum record. Hate to say it but juice was way better and had just as much impact as X did.
All I wanna say is your RUclips shots got you this like/view/ and sub so i hope you guys know your work is paying off even if it’s just one more view
You guys basically nailed this… One thing I would change is put Cole and Drake in the perfect. I think Cole is on that level 100% and I think Drake is there as well but in the lower level of Perfect. I would also put Juice in the Great rating for sure. And the last thing I would change is Rocky, I would put him in the amazing.
hgh putting drake and cole on perfect is such a generic thing to do, ur a casual srry to tell u
No chance cole is perfect, dude barely has 1 classic album
@@goncalokrus286 L
@@loganlehman2494 Forrest Hills Drive is a classic wym
Bad take for sure
