Thanks for sending me the chair! Snowpocalypse happened and just dumped 20” of snow right on Dolly Sods. We’re still doing the trip and moved it over to North Fork Mountain so the chair will get some solid testing. Thanks for sending it out!

Nice review. IIRC I saw someone else review this chair awhile back and the connection for the trekking poles was breaking when he leaned back. Hopefully they saw that as well and have fixed that issue. It's about the only thing that would keep me from wanting it. Look forward to a longer-term review from you.
Yeah I saw some videos from around 6 months ago during initial release where people had that issue. This is the “v2” so I’m assuming they have since addressed that issue but we will see lol
Does it sit higher than the Chair Zero? It sounds like the chair from Big Agnes sits much higher than the Chair Zero. 2 things these chair manufacturers need to figure out is the sit height and sinking into the ground and I don't want to but an add-on to fix that. That high back for sure is going to be more comfortable! Good review and looking forward to the trip!
I believe it sits at 11” and the chair zero is 9” that’s off the top of my head so don’t hold your breath on that. We’ll see how it does this weekend lol
The poles are great and every bit worth $100. Chair is okay, don’t know if I’d buy the set for $200 but so far it doesn’t seem like a stretch considering the Chair Zero is $140
That's a solid overview! 🤙🤙
