    So what you’re saying is that Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Baltimore play in a three team division? How lucky those teams are! Damn

      Not very lucky considering those 3 Teams are legit always in the playoff hunt. Lucky are the Bills with the Pats, Jets, and Dolphins 6 times a season

      Not the Browns. Just Jimmy. Berry and Stephanski deserve better. The fact they've made the playoffs is an incredible accomplishment considering the circumstances. I'm sure the whole league knows it. Id lay big money neither would have any problems finding work in the NFL if they left. They both deserve better.

    It's not like everyone that knows football wasn't saying this was the most risky contract ever. He hadn't shown enough to be worth that contract without all the off the field stuff. Houston was being called stupid and racist and blah blah blah but look how right they were.

    Brady is dead wrong. This is the BEST case scenario for Cleveland. They can go into 2025 knowing Deshaun isn't gonna be available so you just operate like he isn't part of the 53 man roster. Whether you wanna bring in a rookie or free agent, you are looking for a new QB in 2025 regardless. Now there isn't gonna be a question of "Does Deshaun compete for starter." He's gonna be at home all season. Deshaun is under contract thru 2026. By the end of 2026 they'll be able to cut him for a mere $20-30mil dead cap because of the adjusted salary cap

    • @flyguy7825
      @flyguy7825 16 дней назад +2

      It depends on how the contract is structured in rest structure. There are plenty of players who have protection in their contracts just in case they get injured for an example of a player gets injured, seriously and decides to retire. They can’t ask for the money back that is left on their contract if it’s structured in their contract, the Broncos tried to do that according to reports to Russell Wilson, but he said no I’m not going to take the injury cause out of my contract.

    Watson doesnt want to play football anymore. Why would he? He has his money.
    The NFLs edge over other leagues is the non-guaranteed contracts. It is a built in incentive. The ultimate motivator

    I’m not hating on Deshaun Watson. They’re stupid enough to give you that much money guaranteed they’ve got to eat every single penny that they have to pay him and why in the world would the general manager disclose that information to the public is beyond me. I think he’s trying to get fired at this point.

    “Amnesty” in the NBA simply means the payout doesn’t count against the cap. The player still gets all the $, or what ever is negotiated in the buy out
    The guy that keeps talking about insurance…..t hat doesn’t help with the cap. Insurance is just vs the payout. An nfl team can pay the bill, insurance isn’t a big deal… it doesn’t help with the cap mess

    Personally, I lost a lot of interest in the NFL in 1995. College football became much better with the success of Ohio st. 30 years later and nothing has changed. NFL went from first place to thurd place for this football junkie, with college taking first place and high school second!!!

    Not only is Jimmy still making money, he now has the audacity to seek tax payer funding to help finance a new stadium. Why should tax payers help finance his incompetence? It's not just the Watson debacle. OBJ trade was ignorant as well. Not to mention the Johnny football train wreck. People forget. Shanahan literally walked mid season on a first place playoff bound team because Jimmy insisted on Johnny playing. When has that ever happened before? Or since? Seems Shanahan landed on his feet. How's Jimmy doing? Seems getting new ownership is in the best interest of the fans. And the league. He's the second coming of Ted Stepian in my mind!

The Cleveland Browns are miles away from being a playoff team. That offense of line is horrible. The back end of their defense is terrible. Bring me a lotand that cap will be a lot more than $72 million.

    Do they, the pros and Joe, go to stadiums 🏟️ to see any pro football games from time to time? The pros go to their college games for sure though. Do they analyze pros from the distance via the web and news?
