😂, must have been behind the same guy when I was riding the back roads of Kentucky last week. Crawl through every corner and then give ‘er the beans in every straightaway. And that’s fine, ride ur ride. But, when u see someone constantly on yer ass, slow down and let them pass. No reason I should have to ride ur ride.
I agree. First and last time I went on a ride with that guy in the group. Didn't wanna make him more uncomfortable by putting a lot of pressure on or by passing on a shady arra.
Yes there were, wanted a place to pass that I would be comfortable passing an uncomfortable rider without making him more uncomfortable. Pass but be somewhat nice about it.
Got a ride planned on 555 over the weekend. I’ve ridden part of it and it’s definitely a road you need ride within your abilities. In those blind curves and rises where you don’t know what’s on the other side I’m backing off on the speed too.
I will have my 555 video out soon. Fun road but it's like a roller coaster. I never knew coming up to a hump if we are going right or left. some people just are not comfortable with curves I saw that a ton when I taught the MSF class. It is a skill I hate following someone that can't stay in there lane.
I get new riders, this guy claimed he has ridden for years, later found out he's from Kansas. I suggested he go back....lol.... looking forward to your video
There is one thing about moving in your lane to apex a corner but eeeeek going over the line is dangerous!!! That stop sign…..was the one, moving ahead dude …LOL!!!
I live on the nickel, line huggers and crossers are the most dangerous part of the road besides the road itself… if you can’t keep your bike in your lane then keep it on the kick stand…
Thanks for watching. Yeah that guy has a serious issue. By the way we are doing a motto meet-up June 22nd-25 in Athens if you are in the area on those dates on your bun burner.
Agree he was probably a new rider and riding faster then his skills. But as an experienced rider ... You should see that and slow down and stay behind him if he's part of your group. (Even if not). If he crashes , you left a fellow rider down. Part of the mc community is to ride your own ride but it's also the brotherhood and watching out for each other This is why new / inexperienced riders follow the officers and road captain. Group rides at the level of the lest experience rider
Agree to an extent. Brotherhood is not because we ride, and when you tell people you are skilled enough to ride with us but your not then I am not going to be behind you.
Kept riding up on him because he was too slow in the corners, on the wrong side of the road witch made it difficult to pass. Either way the guy was trying to ride way above his skill level and shouldn't have went on that ride with us.
Id rather have people that can't keep ther motorcycle on there side of the road behind me. I could have stopped fir 20 minutes and still would have been back up to him quickly.
I do believe I would have gotten away from that clown too. I don’t going slow for someone but if you can’t stay on your side, I need to be somewhere they are not.
Not crying. Yes ride your ride, but keep it in the correct lane. Crossing the center line is not good riding practices, especially on a road like this one. Ride safe.
I would say that if you were just a Random Rider then pass. As a member of the group you should have backed of and relaxed. I think you were wrong to be annoyed and if that guy sees you video he will probably dislike you for life . Truth be told
Valid point. Maine reason I was so frustrated and wanted to go around him is he had been on the wrong side of the road with cars coming at him. I felt being behind him was more dangerous. Also we had asked people that didn't like to ride at a quick pace or were not experienced in turns to make there way to the back, and our sweeper would make sure they did not get off track or separated from the group, as well as the leader would be waiting at all stop signs along this route for the entire pack to catch up. You have some valid points, it is my opinion this guy just has no place on a road like that. Inexperience is just as bad as people riding like total idiot's. Thanks for watching and I do see your points.
Wow. I would not have ridden with this group. Sorry Road Glide Andy, but if you were following me that close, I would have waved you around as you were much to close, catching up in the corners or not. I'll only ride the 555 on the weekdays now. The weekends invite some people who really shouldn't be on it. I've heard that if there's an accident, they are automatically writing citations for "to fast for conditions" and piling on as many others that they can.
Been racing and riding for 50 years now. These roads aren't The Isle of Man and 99% of the clowns I see aren't professional road racers. Last time on the Nickle I was told by three " professional " riders to stay out of our way old dude. I finished, they did not. Keep racing to a track or a course. Most ride above their ability.

Can't wait for summer to ride my motorcycle
It will be here soon
Well I seen a lot of opportunities to pass?

It is a fun road. Nothing wrong with taking your time, just stay on your side.
@@RoadGlideAndy absolutely!

Watching that amateur in front of you confirms why I prefer to ride alone.
Yes it was not very fun following him.
Guys like these aren’t allowed to come 💯
Oh, I will never ride with that guy again. Thanks for watching.
There is one thing about moving in your lane to apex a corner but eeeeek going over the line is dangerous!!!
That stop sign…..was the one, moving ahead dude …LOL!!!
That was all day with him, that's why I went around him.
@@RoadGlideAndy It was perfect!!!
That must have been hard to do all day!!!
looks beautiful
Is a beautiful ride have lots more from it.
@@RoadGlideAndy nice man

Agree, even though I know there are times I mis judge a corner and cross, but not like he was doing.
Thanks for the vid, 1 minute in and I see someone has a death wish! I will be hitting it June included in an Iron Butt Bun burner 1500 from NY
Thanks for watching. Yeah that guy has a serious issue. By the way we are doing a motto meet-up June 22nd-25 in Athens if you are in the area on those dates on your bun burner.
#1 don't bring HD to it if you want to have fun
Took my h-d across it several times
Don't ride to close
Have entire video was just catching too quickly in turns.
Good luck 👍
Thanks 👍

Why keep riding up on another rider, even if they are slower. Lay back or go around. You wouldn't like it done to You.
Kept riding up on him because he was too slow in the corners, on the wrong side of the road witch made it difficult to pass. Either way the guy was trying to ride way above his skill level and shouldn't have went on that ride with us.
One hundred percent of the people on the road think they are better than the average rider/driver.
I just don't understand why on a road like that you would do that
@@RoadGlideAndy Lack of experience or coordination?
both
@@RoadGlideAndySomeone I know years ago discovered he needed prescription glasses…. It was pointed out to him!!
Why didn't you stop for 1 minute, 40 mph would put you 4 miles behind.

Good run I hope the guy in front of you lived to talk about the ride? Ride Safe
Don't know how but he did
Practice on an easier road then move on up. I'd hate to see this guy on 536. Now that was a technical road.
Yeah he had no business being on that road
Good grief! I think I would pass the next one to. Be well sir.
Thought about it.
I do believe I would have gotten away from that clown too. I don’t going slow for someone but if you can’t stay on your side, I need to be somewhere they are not.
I don't mind going slow, but the danger of the blind corners
What is he doing!?
Thinks he's a Duke boy straightening the curves
U gotta ride your ride & he'll ride his ride stop crying

It is fun to rip on these bike's, on back roads.
Yes I love back roads.
why would that guy ride like that and think its okay? its aggravating...
To say the least

Very hard to maintain a safe distance as inconsistent as he was. I will not ride with him again though.
I think he was just trying to stay ahead of you but was riding past his skill level.
Oh he don't like Harleys, but still yet admitted he don't like roads like that
