An underrated ride with an underrated queue.
In my opinion, it has the second best queue just under Indiana Jones.
Best dark ride at Disney, going there in a few days

Also I love how this ride makes you feel as if you're actually in a cartoon, complete with the 'things whirling around your head when you get dizzy' moment.
Dude… at 1:44 I wish you’d turn around and film. That’s my favorite view of the queue in Rogers. It’s a great street view in Toontown with an apartment stoop and everything. I’ve even sat on the stairs before and enjoyed the art direction when it’s not busy. Love your work, but turn around sometimes and see the easily overlooked beauty of the park.
It’s usually hard to turn around when there are other guests in the queue. If I have time, I will literally film everything in the queue. IE my most recent POV of Flight of Passage
This ride is so underrated... I thought that there was talks of getting rid of this ride in the future to make way for a new area in Toon Town??

I like how they fixed the Dip Pouring Effect with animation. But Jessica rabbit looks ridiculous in that yellow suit
Who asked for Jessica rabbit to be changed..like seriously... Disney literally does things that people don’t care about and ignore what people actually want

I dunno. On one hand, yes, it's clearly Disney trying to be woke, which is completely unnecessary for this ride since Jessica isn't a damsel for the whole thing, but on the other, she's a detective now, complete with 40s trenchcoat and fedora. That's pretty rad imo

My only complaint is that in the first scene, Jessica is too close to the weasel. If you want me to believe that they escaped to the warehouse, she should be on the other side of the street, instead of invading his personal space.

I’m legit shocked they kept the Baby Herman section in the queue the same. I think what they did with Jessica was a little annoying but props to Disney for keeping that segment. Thought for sure it would’ve been taken out of Disney’s PC purge

Sometimes I feel like the only chill and sane Disney fan that didn't really care about Jessica Rabbit's change or anything that Jessica Rabbit's fanbase was raging about since it wasn't really my issue to begin with since like I said I just don't care lol.

Alright, it's time for me to weigh in on the whole "Jessica Rabbit P.I." issue:
Do I believe they should have done this? No. Am I against the idea of Jessica Rabbit being a private eye in ANY new material for the Roger Rabbit franchise? Actually, no. Out of all the screwy things Disney has done to be "woke/inclusive" in the wake of the George Floyd tragedy ("Stories Matter"...MY ASS!!), the idea of Jessica Rabbit becoming a detective actually has the most potential of being good. If it were a new comic series or cartoon for Disney+, it would be an interesting way to bring back the long-defunct IP and even succeed where "Bonkers" failed back in the day if done right. They just didn't need to tweak a cult favorite ride in order to do it is all.
As a femme person, I think that the revamp of Jessica Rabbit is unnecessary, but fine. She's such a nuanced character that her original design on its own doesn't bother me personally, but the change is fine. The only part I don't like is how she's in the beginning. It feels forced and shoe-horned in. Otherwise, people are making it waaay too much of a big deal. This always happens with characters like this. We saw it with Faye in the cowboy bebop remake, we saw it with Lola in the new space jam. It's just frustrating to see it happen over and over again. It also just seems to always reveal the true colors of lots of people and their views on femmes. Anyways, love this movie and love the ride. It really feels like you're inside of the film with all the nods and references. Love the baby herman bit in the queue!!!
The old Jessica Rabbit was the sexiest cartoon character of all time. As a young child, I fell in love with her. What's the point of the redesign?
@@afridgetoofar1818 not 100% sure, but I’m assuming the redesign is because her whole character is a very outdated way of looking at women, but personally I don’t think the change is that necessary since the point of her character was that she wasn’t *just* a sex symbol and she had a lot of agency. But I still understand why they did it and now she’s a badass detective which I think is pretty neat!

@@The_tired_coffeeShop a 4 year old apparently slipped from the cutout entry and got crushed underneath the car, apparently making him not able to function at all. 8 years later he died while his life was constantly declining after the injuries. It was pretty graphic for the family.
