YOU HADN'T PLAYED FEZ?! Oh I am so here for this one.
I came to your channel for void stranger and I'm staying for fez
dr braian, you should try tunic too, I know you'll love it
I just realized why Gomez cannot continue the quest.
He has one eye. No depth perception.
That's clever, hohoho.
Geezer, I think, is the other guy's name, but yeah, heh
I haven't played Fez in maybe 12 years but it's absolutely one of my favorite games ever. The vibes! The aura of mystery! I love it!
Legend of Zelda title screen on the poster in the first room.
omg it totally is how did I never notice this! (is it because I am good at being oblivious to everything? or did I notice it and have already forgotten? perhaps we will find out together)
Hey Brian, I think you'd love to play Tunic for one of the next series
I've already watched a few folks play Tunic.
@@lorgon111 Ah, a shame, I would've loved to see you discover its secrets. What about Animal Well?
Oh, and there's a word based puzzle game called Lingo that you might like, although I'm not too sure about that one
@@WD_Gaster66 Brian already played through that one (I'm still catching up on his series), enjoy the 30+ episodes of yelling at him for not getting some words and being amazed at his genius while you blank on others.
@@WD_Gaster66 I played Lingo, check my old playlists. And i hope to get to Animal Well later this summer.
@@lorgon111 I stayed to watch this channel partly because of Lingo. (although I first discovered you a whole decade ago through Minecraft videos like "Measure wall clock time (instead of game ticks) in the latest Minecraft snapshot")
OH YES PLEASE!!!
Ooh, nice surprise. I'm looking forward to following these. I personally loved this game, and it seems right up your alley. Incidentally I just started playing TUNIC which so far reminds me a lot of FEZ (as well as Zelda and Dark Souls). That might also be something you'd like if you haven't played it already, though maybe the Dark Souls parts aren't quite your cup of tea.
(Seems from some other comments you've already seen TUNIC, so nevermind that.)
Funny you're playing this, I was thinking about replaying it recently...!
Interesting. Dot appears to be a rotating _hyper_cube (4D), but the animation of shrinking and growing from a point suggests yet another dimension, which could fit neatly with 32 being a 5th power. This 5D interpretation might not be intended though. Hard to be sure.
Oh boy, here I go reading too much into things again.
Anyway, the shrinking and growing would suggest a pyramidal (or octahedral), not cubic appearance from that aspect. However, if all four world rotations are taken into account, that could make that one shrink point actually four (or two → eight), which is a square (cube!) from a certain perspective. 5D hypercube confirmed?
Hmm, I never noticed how the game sort of "fibs" with a few things but lorgon is quite perceptive.
oh my god you're in for a great experience!
What's the spoiler policy? A lot of the game is contained in shall we say, absurd secrets?
I've already recorded the whole series, so I guess spoiler-wall comments so other viewers reading comments won't get spoiled accidentally.
Brian is already halfway through FEZ by now. He always delays publishing by two months.
@@lorgon111 Very well then. I'll save some of my thoughts for later.
Oh my god what a series to go after Void Stranger, have fun
Ooh, you're going to love this one!
Speaking of games someone else might love, have you ever played Night in the Woods? It has (in my opinion) some well-written earnest characters and story you might enjoy.
@@lorgon111 It's been on my list for a long time!
ohno... its time for fez
This game has a bunch of fascinating mechanics! Even with the disappointments in UI, this is well done! Yet another gem you've exposed me to.
Ah, Fez! I remember this game. It's definitely got some difficult secrets, but lots of fun. I hope you're enjoying it!
oh!!!!!!! fez!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, this will be a treat! One of the classics in the genre now
I see, you are Going from peak to peak.
Yay, Fez!
